An Elderly Woman Finally Understood that China Central Television Has Been Deceiving People

This is a true story that happened in a village in Puyang, Henan Province.

During this year's autumn harvest, an 87-year-old lady in my village fell while getting out of bed in the evening. She fell flat on the concrete floor and it hurt her so much that she cried. At her age bones can be easily fractured, so it is easy to imagine how much the fall hurt her.

When she could no longer endure the pain, she remembered what a practitioner had told her: "When you encounter difficulties, just recite 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good!' Then you'll be fine and safe." So the old woman recited three times: " Please rescue me, Teacher Li Hongzhi! I know that Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good!"

As she recited the phrases, she did not feel the pain anymore. Then she tried to get up and walk around, and it was not painful either, as if nothing had happened. The old woman thought that it was miraculous!

After sunrise, the old lady went around the neighborhood and told everyone about the miracle that had happened to her the night before. She said to them, "If it were not for Falun Dafa and Teacher rescuing me, I probably would have been bedridden for the rest of my life. Before, I never believed anyone who said that Dafa is good, because China Central Television (CCTV) said that Falun Gong is not good, and my kids said the same thing after watching the television, so I believed what they said was true. This time I experienced it and confirmed it myself. Falun Dafa is truly good. It is here to save people and to help people to live a better life. Now I know that CCTV has been deceiving people! Common people like me are so blind, we believe whatever the government says. We are being led by their lies. We should open our eyes and not believe them anymore!"

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997 and I witnessed the mighty power of Dafa.

I live in the suburb of Shenyang City. At around 8 p.m. on June 21, 2006, my 87-year-old father suddenly had a seizure that affected the right side of his body. The muscles on his right side were in spasms, his body was twitching, and his mouth was crooked. He said, "This is not good, I feel the seizure getting close to my heart." My family was so scared.

I grabbed his right hand and tried to straighten his twisted body, but it did not work. In the midst of the emergency, I told him to recite "Falun Dafa is good!" My father said that he needed to lie down, then his body became heavier and he could no longer talk. So I told him that I would recite "Falun Dafa is good!" for him.

Very soon an amazing thing happened. The twitching on the right side of his body slowed down, then it stopped completely, his body gradually straightened, and it was back to normal very soon. My mother asked him: "Do you know who saved you? It's Teacher Li who saved you! Hurry up and thank Teacher Li!"

My brothers, sisters, and the entire family witnessed the miracle, the mighty power, and the goodness of Dafa right then.

The next day my father started to read Dafa books. He has been healthy and happy ever since!

Those among my friends, relatives, schoolmates, and colleagues who learned about this amazing event all exclaimed, "Falun Dafa is good!" Those who learned about the truth of Dafa have declared their withdrawals from the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations (the Youth League and the Young Pioneers). When they heard about this amazing event, some predestined people have also learned the Fa.
