Perth, Australia: "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" Art Exhibit Displayed in Historic Perth Town Hall (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Western Australia held a week-long "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" Art Exhibit on February 19-24, 2007 in the historic Perth Town Hall.

A week prior to the art exhibit, practitioners ran a large advertisement in The Epoch Times both in Chinese and English, and the largest local newspaper, The West Australian. Many people came to visit the exhibit, and many people signed the petition to support the efforts to stop the Chinese Communist Party from harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They also said they would tell other people about it.

On the morning of the second day of the art exhibit, there came a young lady. She viewed the paintings for quite a long time, and felt reluctant to leave. A practitioner noticed she was crying while looking at the paintings. This kind young lady finally came to sign the petition and left the following touching words on the Guest Book:

"This is a remarkable effort for the truth, justice and beauty. I wish all the best to this team. Truth will prevail no matter how tough the path be. Beauty and truth are the law of the universe. If they exist then only shall we survive. Time has come when we should walk hand in hand for the justice, freedom and truth. May God bless this team and all those who strive for beauty. Thank you!"

The same morning, another lady also viewed the paintings in tears, and signed the petition.

Perth Town Hall is located in downtown Perth, and is a popular tourist destination. One afternoon, a young man with golden hair who is studying in the Department of Politics at the University of Sydney came. He asked many questions, from what Falun Gong is, to the persecution of Falun Gong. When the reporter told him that Falun Gong cultivates "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and the exercises are taught free of charge, he said without thinking twice, "How nice, I want to learn!"He took a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the Report Into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners In China, and he also told the reporter that he is from a family of politicians.

During the exhibit, many people from Eastern European countries extended congratulations to practitioners and said that it's time to expose the evils of Communism on a large scale.
