More Information on Mr. Zhao Shuiqing, Who Was Tortured to Death at Wangling Prison in Hunan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Shuiqing from Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province was illegally sentenced to seven years in prison. At the end of 2003 (or the beginning of 2004) he was sent to Jinshi Prison and was tortured there for one month and then he was transferred to the Wangling Prison in Zhuzhou City. Two months later, Zhao Shuiqing was tortured to death at the age of thirty-two (this has been previously reported).

Mr. Zhao Shuiqing worked in the Finance Bureau in Zhuzhou City. In October 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. He was illegally detained several times and he managed to escape with righteous thoughts. However, he was forced to become homeless to avoid arrest. In Jiangxi Province Mr. Zhao was seen clarifying the truth to some people and was arrested. He was then transferred to the No. 1 Custodial Station and No. 2 Custodial Station in Zhuzhou City. During his detention, Zhao Shuiqing went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The prison guards put shackles on him and tortured him. They force-fed him numerous times. He was then transferred to the custodial station in Liling County. He was tortured more severely there. They inserted tubes into his throat and force-fed him for nearly eight months. Mr. Zhao was then transferred to the No. 2 Custodial Station in Zhuzhou City.

Zhao Shuiqing was detained at the custodial station for three years. The guards instigated inmates to torture him. Then Mr. Zhao was unlawfully sentenced to seven years in prison. He was sent to the Jinshi Prison and was tortured there for one month. He was transferred to the Wangling Prison in Zhuzhou City and was again inhumanely tortured. Two months later, Zhao Shuiqing died as a result of relentless torture.

Zhang Houyuan, Brigade Leader (Zhang and Yuan were previously officials of the 610 Office in Zhuzhou City and specialized in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. In August and October 2002, Zhang Houyuan put handcuffs and shackles on Falun Gong practitioners who were detained there and force-fed them.)
