Some Thoughts After Reading "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference"

"If upon encountering trying circumstances your thinking can be truly righteous, then, when faced with the evil's persecution and when faced with interference, just one sentence of yours fortified with steadfast righteous thoughts can instantly make the evil disintegrate (applause), and it will make those who are being used by the evil turn and flee." (Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference)

After I read this, it reminded me an incident in March 2004. A Falun Dafa practitioner was arrested and I was implicated. When the police came to my house to arrest me, I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts when I saw the police coming. I asked Teacher to strengthen my power, to not let them take any Falun Dafa material and make them leave quickly empty handed. I had just obtained some materials from the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. I had the Zhuan Falun book which is always with me. I had no time to put them away before the police took them. They didn't take any other things.

The police asked me to sign my name. They took out handcuffs and wanted to take me with them. I refused to sign my name no matter what they said. I argued with them and clarified the truth to them. When we arrived at the Public Security Bureau, I would clarify the truth to them when they asked me a question. One policeman ran towards me and grabbed my hair. He roared, "Are we interrogating you or are you interrogating us?" At that time, I thought of Teacher strengthening me to freeze his hands as he had no reason to touch me. With just this one thought, he stepped aside. Later, during the next trial, he stood aside and said nothing.

This is my true personal experience. I realized that Teacher taught us to send forth righteous thoughts, so He must have opened our power. Moreover, I have this experience in many other aspects. How to righteously believe in the power and how to righteously use it depends on how we practitioners treat it. Never neglect sending forth righteous thoughts. Some fellow practitioners do not pay enough attention to sending forth righteous thoughts. Since Teacher taught us to do well the three things, Teacher emphasized many times in his Fa-lectures to do well the three things including sending forth righteous thoughts. Thus, we cannot neglect sending forth righteous thoughts. Sending forth righteous thoughts is to eliminate evil interference in our brain, to cultivate well, to save sentient beings, to resist and disintegrate evil, and to eliminate evil spirits in other dimensions. Therefore, sending forth righteous thoughts is very important.
