A Pure and Shining Young Heart

(Clearwisdom.net) To avoid persecution by the Chinese Communist Party, I had to live a homeless life. During that time, I got acquainted with a pure little Falun Dafa practitioner, Ling Jie (pseudonym), who is merely eight years old this year. She has a pure and shining young heart in her cultivation. To save the world's people lost in the maze, she often studies and recites the Fa, distributes truth-clarification materials, discusses with fellow practitioners, and looks inside her heart for impure human nature.

On February 22, 2007, Ling Jie gave me 20 yuan, saying that she was donating it. I asked her where the money came from and that I couldn't accept it. "You use it yourself!" I told her. She said, "The money is my birthday gift. I have over 100 yuan, so I will donate more money to be used for truth-clarification. If I donate the money all at once, my uncle would ask me where it went."

In the muddy stream in which moral standards have dissolved, many worldly people are fighting for their own interests and are hurting others with all means. A little Falun Dafa practitioner is doing what she wants to do unselfishly and selflessly, validating the sacredness and beauty of Falun Dafa. Her crystal pure and shining heart shocked me. I can't help but ask myself very seriously what I have done for Falun Dafa. As a practitioner, I saw many of my own shortcomings and my human nature because of her pure heart. From now on, I must strive forward diligently to cultivate myself in doing well the Three Things.

A Six-Year-Old Practitioner Persuades Her Grandparents to Quit the Chinese Communist Party

Lian Lian (pseudonym) is six years old. One day, her grandpa and grandma, whom she hasn't seen for three years, came home. Lian Lian asked Grandpa: "Are you a Communist Party member?" Grandpa said: "No." Lian Lian asked her mother (a Falun Dafa practitioner): "Mama, is Grandpa a Communist Party member?" Her mother said: "Yes." Lian Lian solemnly said to her grandpa: "Lying will bring retribution. Mama, What is Grandpa's name?" Her mother said: "His name is ABC." Lian Lian said: "Grandpa, how about you change your name to XYZ so you can guarantee your safety by quiting the Communist Party, Do you agree?" Grandpa said: "I agree."

Lian Lian: "Are you sure?"

Grandpa: "I am sure."

Lian Lian: "No regrets?"

Grandpa: "No regrets."

Grandpa, who had not agreed to quit the Party for over a year, was persuaded to quit the Party with a couple of sentences. Lian Lian again turned to her grandpa and said solemnly: "Do you have friends and children? Please ask them to quit the Party to save their lives."

Lian Lian brought out Zhuan Falun and asked Grandpa to introduce himself in front of Teacher's picture and say that he wanted to be a Falun Dafa practitioner. Grandpa said that he did not know how to say it. She then taught her grandpa sentence by sentence. Now both Grandpa and Grandma have started to practice Falun Gong.
