Belgium: Audience Moved to Tears over a Little Girl's Story at the ECO-Therapeutica Beurs in Leuven (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of March 2007, Falun
Dafa practitioners took part in the ECO-Therapeutica Beurs in Leuven, a city in
the Flemish speaking part of Belgium. Practitioners set up a beautiful booth
decorated with the giant Chinese characters for Zhen-Shan-Ren
(Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) and several dozen pictures of Falun Gong
practitioners worldwide peacefully appealing for the end of the persecution.
Informational materials about the practice of Falun Gong, the persecution in
China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the CCP's atrocities of
harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit were also
displayed. In addition, the practitioners also invited people to come and learn
how to make origami lotus flowers as sign of hope for the children orphaned
during the persecution. A visitor, while making a folded paper flower, looked around the booth and
looked carefully at the decorations and the practitioners who were chatting with
other visitors and said, "One can breathe an air of relaxation and peace
here, and the atmosphere is so serene and harmonious." He said the strong
positive energy emanating from the practitioners' booth gave him that feeling.
He came back to the booth on the following day. People indeed looked relaxed while making the flowers and were very willing
to listen carefully to the accounts from practitioners about the story of little
Fadu and her mother (Fadu's father was persecuted to death in China), to
accounts of the inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China by the
CCP. They also listened attentively to an account of the CCP's atrocities of
harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. All of the
visitors strongly condemned the CCP and told the practitioners that they support
Falun Gong. Some asked what they could do to help and many were in tears after
hearing about the persecution. Two ladies said that they will make more paper
lotus flowers, to which they will attach a Falun Gong message and then
distribute them to as many people as possible. They said that it was a
responsibility that they felt they had to fulfill. Practitioners also had the opportunity to demonstrate the Falun Gong
exercises. Some visitors learned the exercises and asked for information about
the local practice sites. Source http://en.clearharmony.net/articles/200703/38520.html Posting date: 3/19/2007
