I am a young Dafa practitioner, 14 years old. When I was about three years old, my father started practicing Falun Dafa. My father always read Dafa books to me, so I know that Dafa is good. I am actually a veteran practitioner, although I just started practicing the exercises three years ago.

Since July 20, 1999, the vicious Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been persecuting Dafa practitioners. My father and mother were both persecuted. Twice my parents were illegally detained and I was left home alone. Other children did not want to talk to or play with me. Even my own grandparents said bad things to me.

All this made me feel very sad. But I know very well that our Master is right and Dafa is right, and my parents who are cultivators are good people. Only the CCP, which persecutes good people, is bad. Many Dafa practitioners around me have been illegally given prison and forced labor camp sentences. Their children, like me, are left alone and unattended.

When my school was organizing students to join the Communist Youth League, I refused to join and advised others to not join this vicious organization. In 2004, I used an alias to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. Later my father helped me to quit the Young Pioneers using my real name.

Not long ago, when my history teacher was talking about religions, he started slandering Falun Dafa. I stood up and told my teacher: "Teacher, how could you talk in such a way? Falun Dafa upholds 'Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance', it is not like what you said." Later, after the class, my teacher said to me: "I really did not mean to talk in such a way; I know that your parents are practicing Falun Gong."

My father also teaches in my school. After I came back home, I asked my father to clarify the facts further to my history teacher. As a result, my history teacher now knows the truth about Falun Gong. My teacher also paid extra attention to my studies after that. My final exam scores were second in the class this year.

I also worked with my father on the weekends, spring break and summer vacation to make and hand out truth-clarifying material and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. My mother is still imprisoned in a forced labor camp. When my mother is released and returns home, we will work together to save sentient beings and do well the three things that we are supposed to do.

At the end of the old year and the beginning of the new year, we Chinese like to visit each other to celebrate. My father and I want to use this chance to greet our Master and sincerely hope that our Master will have a Happy New Year! I also hope all of the young and adult practitioners in mainland China have a happy New Year too.
