Behave Like a Cultivator on a Daily Basis

(Clearwisdom.net) I am seventy-eight years old. I was very weak even as a child, and I did not begin walking until age five. Before I began to practice cultivation I took medicine like meals. There were five big tribulations in my life. I was burned twice, had motor vehicle accidents twice, and drug poisoning once. I knew that something was coming for my life. Master protected me so I could obtain Dafa later, and I am very grateful.

I truly obtained Dafa in February 1997, and it has now been ten years. Actually, I watched Master’s Fa lectures in one of the theaters in the fall of 1994. I did not have the understanding like I have now, so I did not continue the study.

Before the persecution began on July 20, 1999, we were very diligent, six to seven fellow practitioners went to the practice site and came to my home to study every day. After the persecution began, despite the tremendous pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I firmly believed in Master and Dafa, and have closely followed Master to this day.

I believe that I am a Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period. Master asked us to do the three things well. I need to study Fa well first, as everything comes from this profound Fa. I understand that I will easily deviate from the Fa if I do not study the Fa well. Fa study becomes the most important part of my daily life. I spend six to seven hours a day studying the Fa and I pay attention to improving xinxing and behaving like a cultivator on a daily basis. I had a hot temper in the past, and I lost my temper whenever I disciplined my children. After cultivating for a while, I overcame many shortcomings. My compassion came out, and I am happy all the time and I no longer lose my temper. I changed entirely. I am close to eighty, but my hair is still dark black, my skin is fair and rosy, my eyes are bright, and my footsteps feel very light when I walk. When I take the bus, the conductor needs to check my senior card to verify my age, as they said that I look to be only in my fifties.

There are several police officers who live in our building. I am not afraid of the environment since I firmly practice Dafa. Over these several years, I persisted in sending forth righteous thoughts, and cleaning my own time-space. I understand that sending forth righteous thoughts is the sharp weapon that Master granted us, I will use it well. One time several people from the Judiciary Bureau and the police knocked on my door loudly. My husband answered the door scolding them with an irritating voice, and I was sending forth righteous thoughts inside. After a short while, they left.

After Master’s teaching "Pass the Deadly Test" was published, fellow practitioners and I brought Master’s compassionate calling to those practitioners who have not stepped out or have deviated from the Fa. We told them, "We all carried our missions before we came to this world. Clarifying the truth and saving the sentient beings are our incumbent duty. Even though you did something that deviated from the Fa, Master will not abandon you. He will not give up on any disciple. We do not have much time now. Step out and come back to the Fa and catch up with the Fa-rectification."

In the summer of 2005, my husband had his eightieth birthday. My sister-in-law helped to celebrate the birthday and invited relatives and friends—over one hundred people. It was at the time of the "Quitting the CCP" movement all over the country. I thought this was the chance for me to clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the CCP. After so many years, many relatives did not recognize me, as I was previously so sick, dark and skinny. Now I looked so young, not possibly close to eighty years old. I told my relatives and friends about the wonders of Dafa, and sincerely asked them to always remember, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good!" I gave them truth-clarifying pamphlets, and I also helped those who have a predestined relationship to obtain Dafa. My younger sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and niece-in-law all obtained Dafa and began practicing cultivation. After clarifying the truth, I changed the topic to "Quitting the CCP." I asked, "Have you heard that there is an ancient stone in Guizhou Province that revealed six Chinese characters inside? It said, 'Chinese Communist Party will die.' The last character "die" was particularly large. A specialist confirmed that this was not carved by anyone, it was naturally formed. A Chinese TV station also reported this. They just did not dare to show the character 'die.' The Chinese Communist Party has committed so many crimes over the years. It is God’s will to eliminate the CCP. Hurry up and quit the CCP for your safety." All the relatives and friends that I asked, quit the CCP, over eighty people.

One person practicing Dafa benefits the entire family. One day my husband was standing on a chair to get something, and he slipped and fell. He did not wake up for thirty minutes and then he stood up as if nothing had happened. My grandson was in the exercise field at school. One shot came towards his head, and at that moment he heard someone calling his name, so he turned around and in the meantime the shot passed right by his eyes, so close! I understand that it is Mater’s protection. All my family members have verified the wonder of Dafa after they witnessed the huge change in me. Master not only saved me from hell but also gave me the most wonderful Dafa, and saved my husband and grandson. I always tell Master from my heart, "What I can do is tell everyone 'Falun Dafa is good!' and 'Truth, Compassion, Forbearance are good!'"

I do not have a retirement pension, but I manage to save some money from daily living to make truth clarifying materials to save sentient beings.

I wrote this article to verify the greatness of the Fa and compassion of Master. It is Master and Dafa that guided me from being an ordinary person towards being a cultivator. The enormous power of the Fa corrected me and let me walk the path of cultivation. I will continue to do the three things well, purify myself in the Fa and behave like a cultivator on daily basis.
