It was March 4, the 15th day of the Chinese New Year. Tens of thousands of residents gathered to enjoy lanterns and fireworks in Shiji Square in Dongfeng New Village, Daqing City. Over one thousand undercover police and armed police were among the crowd. Practitioners distributed free handouts that clarified the facts of Falun Dafa among the crowd. It was quite risky. They could have been arrested if they were discovered. The police arrested some residents for reading the handouts. Several of them were sent to the Daqing City Detention Center. The police beat them before questioning and interrogated them the whole night without allowing any of them to sleep.

An elderly resident was beaten so badly that he had bruises all over. It turned out that he was a businessman instead of a Falun Gong practitioner. The police asked why he was reading the Falun Gong handout. He said that he had no idea, but he saw that it was glittering, so he picked it up and read it.

At night, the police and the residents heard the Falun Dafa music during their interrogation in the Daqing City Detention Center. After 5 a.m., they heard the Falun Dafa music again. Two of the police officers could not help shedding tears when they heard the music.

The Chinese Communist Party fears the widespread dissemination of the facts of Falun Gong. It beats and arrests the ones who want to know the facts and takes away their freedom. However, Falun Dafa is merciful and miraculous.
