From a Lung Cancer Patient to a Falun Dafa Practitioner

I am a chief engineer. I was also a CCP party member for 40 years. I used to do research at a university. Later I worked on product development for a factory. I have been victimized by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s policies for many years, suffering from intense mental pressure and financial hardship. Initially, I did not realize the source of my suffering. In 2005 I discovered I had lung cancer and felt I would soon die. That was the most painful period in my life. In this seemingly hopeless situation I luckily obtained Falun Dafa. Since then my life has completely changed.

I had an operation in April 2005, but it did not succeed. The cancer moved to my brain. In 2006 I had another operation, but it failed too. After the operation I could not control the left half of my body, and could not take care of myself anymore. I tried traditional Chinese medicine treatments, but my health was getting worse every day. Everything I ate got stuck in my stomach, and even the water I drank stayed in my chest. If I moved, the sound of water could be heard. I could not lie or sit down for more than a little while. My wife had to help me to stand up. I would walk a few steps and then lay down. I could only sleep with the help of medicine. Every day I took various medicines, but they had no effect. Severe edema after the operation pinched a nerve in my brain resulting in frequent convulsions. I felt deep despair.

At this time my relatives and classmates brought Falun Dafa to me. I, an intellectual, poisoned by the CCP for many years, did not believe in the power of Falun Dafa in the beginning. With no other choice, I decided to try my luck. I started to read Zhuan Falun. Master's words made so much sense. They answered the questions that had puzzled me my whole life. It's really a book from heaven! At that time I truly understood the idea of predestined people obtaining the Fa. As I read this book from heaven, of course my level was elevated.

I am so lucky that I learned Dafa at the verge of death and started to practice Falun Dafa. It was Master's boundless compassion and tolerance that saved me.

With my continuous learning of the Fa, I soon did not have the feeling of illness, and became healthier and healthier. I live as a healthy person now. Most important for me is that Dafa freed me from many years of the CCP culture's mind control. Both my mind and body are purified. I have truly felt the shamefulness of being a CCP party member, and also the glory of being a Falun Dafa practitioner.

From now on I declare that I withdraw from the CCP which poisoned and persecuted me for more than forty years!
