Personnel from the Pinghu Police Department's National Security Team arrested Ms. Fan Changhua from Yichang City on January 12, 2007. She is being held at the Yichang City Detention Center and has begun a hunger strike to protest the illegal arrest.
2. [Beijing] Tan Jinyu and Four Other Practitioners Arrested
Personnel from the Chaoyang District National Security Bureau, from the 610 Office, and from the Anzhen Police Station arrested five practitioners: Ms. Tan Jinyu, Ms. Zhang Guilan, Ms. Zhang Xiumin, Ms. Yuan Wen, and her mother in the afternoon of March 19, 2007. They confiscated the practitioners' Falun Dafa books and some truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Yuan's mother was released. Zhang Guilan and Zhang Xiumin were denied admission to a detention center due to poor health. Tan Jinyu and Yuan Wen are being held at the Chaoyang District Detention Center.
3. [Tongchuan City, Shannxi Province] Practitioner Liu Chunxia Suffers a Mental

A person who did understand Falun Dafa reported practitioner Ms. Liu Chunxia, 38 years old, from Tongchuan City to the police in 2002 only because she practices Falun Dafa. Personnel from the city's 610 Office sent Ms. Liu and her mother to the Shannxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Liu was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor, and her mother, Ms. Xu Guifang, was sentenced to one and a half years. Guard Li Zhen forcibly tried to "reform" Ms. Liu. She ordered drug addict inmates to bully her and put nerve-damaging drugs in Ms. Liu's food. As a result, Ms. Liu suffered a mental collapse. She was eventually sent to the Tongchuan City Mental Hospital. Her condition has recently deteriorated and her situation is now critical.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Shunli and his wife, Ms. Tong, from Anhui Province lived in exile in Wuhan City. They had a restaurant serving breakfast only in the Zhanbei Xincun Area. Personnel from the Anhui Province Police Department collaborated with personnel from the Hubei Province Police Department to arrest Mr. Wang in November 2006. He was sentenced to one year of forced labor at Hewan Forced Labor Camp.
7. [Beijing] Personnel from the Xuanwu District Detention Center Arrest Practitioner Zhou Yajing
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhou Yajing worked in Beijing. Personnel from the Xuanwu District Detention Center arrested her at the end of January 2007. She was sentenced to two years of imprisonment and transferred to Zhengzhou City, Henan Province.
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Chen Guiqin Sentenced to One and a Half Years of Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Chen Guiqin, 61 years old, lives in Nan Lane, the Yuhong District, Shenyang City. Someone reported her when she clarified the truth of Falun Gong in May 2001. The police arrested her and sentenced her to one and a half years of forced labor at Longshan Forced Labor Camp.
Six officers from the district's Huanghai Police Station arrested Ms. Chen again when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials near her home at 6:00 p.m. on April 1, 2007. Police went to her home and ransacked it. They confiscated a computer, a printer-copier, a cellphone and two bags of truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Chen was put in the city detention center on April 2, 2007.

Mr. Hou Haiping from Handan City was arrested at the end of March 2007 and put in the city's No. 2 Detention Center. He is staging a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

11. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Five practitioners were arrested in February 2007. They were: Ms. Niu Rongtian, Ms. Ren Zhiling, Ms. Liu Qin, Ms. Bao Peiping, and Ms. Zhao Wenzhu from the Shandong Province Huaheng Mining Company. Ms. Bao had 7,000 yuan extorted from her and Ms. Zhao was fined 6,000 yuan. Ms. Bao and Ms. Zhao were held at the Xintai City Detention Center for two weeks and have been released. The other three practitioners were held at the Tai'an City Brainwashing Center for a month and later sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. They are presently being held at the Shandong Province No. 1 Women's Forced Labor Camp.
12. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners, Employees of a Chemical Fiber Company, Arrested
Accompanied by Chemical Fiber Company security personnel, policemen from the Hanting National Security Division broke into practitioner Ms. Yi's home in the company's dorm at 10:00 a.m. on April 9, 2007. They arrested practitioners Ms. Wei Shuxiang, Ms. Ding Suzhen, Ms. Liu, and Ms. Yi, all in their 60s, when the practitioners were watching truth-clarifying videos. The police ransacked the place and confiscated all Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials.

Fifty-year-old Ms. Zhuanzhuan from Ruicheng County, Yuncheng City, was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials in April 2007.
14. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Yang Bingju Persecuted
Fangzi District Police Department's National Security Division personnel headed by Wang Zongqiang broke into an older practitioner's home in the the Fangzi District's Old Downtown Area and confiscated a color TV on March 22, 2007.
Practitioner Mr. Yang Bingju and his wife, Ms. Shang Meiyuan, were arrested at Xianghezi Village, the Fangzi District, Weifang City, on April 5, 2007. An unknown practitioner was arrested at the same time.
15. [Heilongjiang Province] Deplorable Crimes at the Harbin City Women's Prison
Practitioner Ms. Li Yushu has been on a hunger strike for a long time. She is force-fed daily. Ms. Li refuses to wear the prison uniform. Two inmates were assigned to monitor her around the clock, even when using the restroom. Ms. Li is presently being held in the prison's hospital.
Practitioner Ms. Liu Dan sent forth righteous thought on October 2, 2006. As a consequence, six prisoners brutally beat her. She has been on a hunger strike since then, is force-fed daily, and is being held at the prison's hospital.
The No. 13 Ward was established for the specific purpose of monitoring Falun Dafa practitioners. Personnel there force practitioners to watch videos and materials defaming Dafa. They handcuff practitioners to a bed every day.
In addition, the prison's "tight administration class" is on the fourth floor of the newly built cafeteria building. Several criminal inmates are assigned to a single practitioner. The guards incite the criminal inmates to beat practitioners.

Five officers from the Main Street Police Precinct in Jiaohe City arrested Ms. Ding Yubin, 48 years old, from her home at 9:00 a.m. on April 10, 2007. They also confiscated some Dafa materials.
17. [Chongqing] Practitioner Zhang Kaimei Arrested
Personnel from the local police precinct and from the Kai County Police Department arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Kaimei, in her 50s, from her home on January 2007. She has not been released. The police forbade all visits to her. Her current situation is unknown.

Personnel from the Delisi Police Station arrested Ms. Zhang Jun on April 8, 2007, when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She is presently being held at the Wafangdian City Detention Center.

Police arrested practitioner Ms. Huang Xiuqing from her home in the Cangshan District, Fuzhou City, on March 23, 2007. She is presently being held at the city's No. 1 Detention Center.
21. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wang Riqing is Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Riqing, in her 60s, from the Jinzhou District, Dalian City, was arrested on April 10, 2007. She is presently held at the Administration Detention Center near Qianshan Street in Dalian City.

Personnel from the Jiaozuo City Police Department and from the Jiefang Police Station arrested four practitioners including Ms. Yang Xiao, and two practitioners surnamed Zhang and Chu between March 13 and March 15, 2007.
23. [Shangqiu City, Henan Province] Practitioner Sui Xuexi Arrested
Policeman Tian Hui from the Xiayi County Political Section arrested practitioner Mr. Sui Xuexi from Xiayi County, Shangqiu City, Henan Province, in April 2007. Mr. Sui is presently being held at the county detention center.
24. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Xu Huiqin
Officers Liu Chunxiang and Zhao Shisheng from the Changle County Police Department's division that specializes in persecuting Falun Gong colluded with Wutu Police Station political head Liu Chundi, Deputy Chief Gao Dezhi and two security guards. They drove to Xujiamiao Village and arrested practitioner Ms. Xu Huiqin and her husband, Mr. Zhang Qindong, at 3:00 p.m. on April 4, 2007. Their son, practitioner Mr. Zhang Liang, went to the police station to bring his parents some daily necessities that night, but the police held him because he had a Falun Gong truth-clarifying amulet. Mr. Zhang Qindong and Mr. Zhang Liang were released the next morning, but Ms. Xu is still being held in the county detention center.

25. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioner Liu Chunxia Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Liu Chuxia from Changsha was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials on April 8, 2007. Four practitioners have been arrested since February 2007. Two practitioners are still being held.
26. [Yitong County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Wu Zhenhua Arrested
Personnel from the Yitong County National Security Division and from the Kaoshan Police Station broke into practitioner Mr. Wu Zhenhua's home at 9:30 p.m. on April 9, 2007. Mr. Wu was not at home, but his wife was. The police ransacked the home, threatened Mr. Wu's wife, and forced her to tell them where Mr. Wu was. Mr. Wu's wife eventually led them to Mr. Wu's rented home in Gongzhuling City, where he was arrested.
27. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhao Yiqin Arrested
Ms. Zhao Yiqin from Shengli No. 2 Village in the Zhoucun District, Zibo City, was arrested on April 5, 2007. Her whereabouts are unknown. Personnel from the district's 610 Office arrested her husband, Mr. Li Jinhua, on April 10, 2007, at his home.
28. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wang Ming Arrested and Persecuted in a Detention Center
Several motorcyclists hired by the "110" police [emergency dispatch unit] arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Ming, around 35 years old, from the Yongkang Garden Community in Xinji City when she was distributing truth-clarification materials at 10:00 p.m. on April 9, 2007. Police officer Geng Chao has sent Ms. Wang to the Xinji City Detention Center for ten days of detention.
29. [Jiyuan City, Henan Province] Practitioner Liu Xiaoman Arrested and Persecuted
Officers from the Jiyuan City Police Department's Political and Security Section and from the Lilin Town Police Station ransacked the home of Ms. Liu Xiaoman from Dongxu Village, Lilin Town, Jiyuan City, at 4:00 p.m. on April 6, 2007. They arrested her and put her into the city's Administrative Custody Center for persecution.
30. [Shanghai] Zhabei District Court Intended to Try Zhang Lanying and Her Daughter
Zhabei District Court agents planned to sentence Ms. Zhang Lanying and her daughter, Ms. Cai Linyun, for the second time at 8:45 a.m. on April 13, 2007.

31. [Benxi County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Fan Suqing Arrested
Policemen from Benxi County arrested Ms. Fan Suqing, around 60 years old, from Mapinggou, Xiaoshi Town, Benxi County, on April 8, 2007. The arrest happened when she was distributing truth-clarification materials. They also ransacked her home and confiscated several Dafa books that same day.
32. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Police Harass a Practitioner at a Farmer's Market
"110" police from Luzhou City harassed a practitioner, Ms. Peng, who ran a vendor booth in the Wugucang Farmer's Market, on the afternoon of April 10, 2007. Many people witnessed the incident.

33. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Peng Guangzhen for Appealing for Her Son
Two plainclothes agents forcibly took Ms. Peng Guangzhen away in a taxi on Xihai'an Street in Panzhihua City at 10:00 a.m. on March 28, 2007. Police in three vehicles from the city's National Security Division brought Ms. Peng to her home in the Wanyaoshu Area that same afternoon. Ms. Peng was handcuffed. The police ransacked her home. Ms. Peng is now being held at the city's detention center.
The following is belated information:
Policeman Zhou Yong and others from the city's National Security Division arrested Ms. Peng's son, Mr. Xu Langzhou, and tortured him during an interrogation in 2004 because Mr. Xu practiced Falun Gong. They sentenced Mr. Xu to eight and a half years of imprisonment.

34. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Persecution of Practitioners Zhang Chunying and Du Shuhua – Belated News
Ms. Zhang Chunying from Majiazhuang Village, Gucheng Town, Dingxing County, Hebei Province, went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong on July 20, 1999 (when the persecution began). The police arrested her and took her to a stadium as soon as she arrived in Beijing. Then, police from her hometown took her back and handcuffed her to a metal door for a night. They put her into the county detention center and held her there for two weeks. Later they extorted 600 yuan from Ms. Zhang and released her. She went to Beijing again on December 9, 1999, but was stopped on her way and taken to the township's government offices. Officers Cui Ru and Geng Desheng from Jiu'anzhuang Tonwship beat Ms. Zhang and held her there for a month. They extorted 3,500 yuan from Ms. Zhang and then released her.
Ms. Du Shuhua from Guoxing Village, Gucheng Town, Dingxing County, Hebei Province, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. Police arrested her once she arrived in Beijing and sent her back to Gucheng Town. Local police held Ms. Du a dozen days and fined her 500 yuan. Seven policemen climbed over Ms. Du's yard wall and broke into her home at 3:00 a.m. on October 2, 2002. They confiscated Master's picture and some writings. They took Du Shuhua to the Liyuzhuang Brainwashing Center in Dingxing County. There, the police often hit her head, breasts, and back with huge wooden clubs during her 20 days of detention. They fined Ms. Du 900 yuan and released her.

When Mr. Wang Yafu from Qingyuan County persuaded people to quit the Chinese Communist Party on April 6, 2007, he was reported and arrested.
36. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Personnel from the Wenbei Police Station Arrest Practitioner Gao Guilan
Practitioner Ms. Gao Guilan went out to post truth-clarifying materials at 9:00 p.m. on April 4, 2007. Security guards from the Wenbei Police Station in Tangshan City arrested her. They colluded with personnel from the Lunan Police Station and sent her to the city's Changningdao Detention Center. Ms. Gao has not been released yet.

Someone reported them, and personnel from the Maling Town Police Department arrested them and held them at the county's detention center. Two policewomen stripped off the practitioners' clothes and searched them. Their homes have also been ransacked.
