New Mexico, USA: In Stormy Weather and Sunshine, Practitioners Present Falun Dafa at Earth Day Celebrations in Santa Fe and Albuquerque

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, April 21, 2007, practitioners braved the strong winds and the continuous threat of rain to present Falun Dafa at the All Species Day Earth Day Celebration in Santa Fe. Despite the chilling winds, quite a crowd turned out to the event and many people stopped to take information about Falun Dafa.

One young man who had encountered a Falun Dafa group during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah saw the table banner with Chinese characters on it and immediately said enthusiastically, "It says, 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance!" Another man who had stopped at the booth attended the local Falun Dafa beginners' class the very next day.

The sun came out and the skies were blue for the Earth Day event in Albuquerque the following day, Sunday, April 22. One after another, many people stopped at the Falun Dafa booth to take information and some even wanted to learn the exercises on the spot. It seemed that most of the people that came to the booth had been informed about the persecution, but were curious to learn more about the practice of Falun Dafa.
