England: To Commemorate the April 25 Appeal, Falun Gong Practitioners Call for the End of the Persecution Outside the Chinese Embassy in London (Photos)
By a practitioner from England
(Clearwisdom.net) April 25, 2007 marks the eighth anniversary of the
"April 25" Appeal in Beijing. Falun Gong practitioners from London
held a protest activity outside the Chinese Embassy in London and a candlelight
vigil to mourn the practitioners who have been persecuted to death by the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The activity exposed the CCP's atrocities. At the
candlelight vigil, practitioners displayed banners to call for an end to the
persecution, continuously sent forth righteous thoughts and did the Falun Gong
exercises. Passers-by were attracted by the candlelight vigil and received
truth-clarification materials from practitioners. Some people
expressed their support by making the heshi gesture (pressing
their hands together in front of the chest), and some took photos to record the
special historical moment. The activity lasted until 11:30 p.m. Falun Gong practitioners call for an end to the persecution
