Russia: Supporting the Tide of Quitting the CCP at Irkutsk City (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 28, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Irkutsk City, with volunteers supporting withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, together held a rally near the Chinese official agent to Irkutsk's office, to support the 20 million withdrawals from the CCP.

When volunteers set up banners and display boards, many people from the Chinese community and passersby were attracted by the display, and carefully read all the content. A Chinese businessman was so attentively reading the banners, that he did not even notice that a volunteer was handing him “truth clarifying” materials. After he accepted the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” booklet, the volunteer suggested that the man quit the CCP. He seemed very afraid, and rejected the suggestion by saying, “I will be put in jail if I do so.” Although the CCP has made Chinese people fearful, many Chinese people still accept the truth clarifying materials with pleasure and are happy to read them.

According to Falun Gong practitioners who organized this activity, when applying for the permit for this activity from the city council, officials at city council saw the independent investigation report on the CCP organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners produced by two Canadians. They were very interested in it and inquired as to what is in the report. They took truth clarifying video CDs not only for themselves but also for other departments. The head of civic administration department said to his colleagues that he has known Falun Gong practitioners very well, and had a very good impression about Falun Gong practitioners. He also said, “They (Falun Gong practitioners) are indeed trying to do some good things.” A staff member at the Civic Administrative Department suggested that Falun Gong practitioners introduce Falun Gong to them, as they are all very interested in it, and he hoped to discuss the matter and understand the detailed information about Falun Gong next time. He also suggested that Falun Gong practitioners hold this kind of rally more frequently.
