1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Several Female Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested

Police arrested four or five people from the No. 2 Building in Changchun City's Telecommunications Bureau residential area. The Telecommunication Bureau is located on Tonghua Road. It happened at 2:00 p.m. about a week ago. The arrested people were women. Their neighbors confirmed they were Falun Gong practitioners, and they had been renting there for a while.

2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Police Harass Practitioner Ms. Lao Yang from the Changxi District

Two uniformed policemen knocked open the door of an older practitioner Ms. Lao Yang's residence. The invasion happened at 3:00 p.m. on April 27, 2007. The intruders stated they were from the Longfeng Police Department. It took them a long time to come out of the residence. One policeman was holding something in his hands. It's believed it was Falun Dafa books. Almost 20 practitioners have recently been arrested in Daqing City.

3. [Jilin Province] Tonghua City Public Security Officials Persecute Practitioners Relentlessly

Personnel from the Tonghua City National Security Team, from all police stations and from the street administrative committees have been following, stalking and arresting practitioners and ransacking their homes since April 2007. This is done according to a secret order issued by the provincial authorities. Eight fellow practitioners are still being held at the Changliu Detention Center to date.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Personnel from the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison Commit Crimes Against Falun Dafa Practitioner Chu Xiuhe

Practitioner Ms. Chu Xiuhe, 59 years old, lives in the Pinggong Community, Nangang District, Harbin City. Personnel from the Liming Police Station collaborated with personnel from the Nangang District Lujia Police Station. They arrested Chu Xiuhe on January 9, 2004. She was later secretly sentenced to seven years of imprisonment without going through any legal processes. Her family was not even informed. She was put into the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison in the summer of 2004. Ms. Chu developed a stomach tumor in November 2006 and was unable to eat. Her family bailed her out for hospitalization. Ms. Chu is now a handicapped person. She had bone tumor surgery and cannot bend one of her legs and has necrosis in a femur. She has difficulty walking. She cannot straighten her back and has to support herself by clinging to a wall when walking. Police from the Provincial Women's Prison arrested her again on April 26, 2007.

5. [Heilongjiang Province] Personnel from the Mishan City Police Department Scheme to Arrest Practitioner Wang Shilin and His Son

Personnel from the Mishan City Police Department attempted to arrest practitioner Mr. Wang Shilin in Jiamusi City but failed to do so. They are now collaborating with police from Jiamusi City and scheming to arrest Wang Shilin and his son. Police are stalking the Wang Shilin residence, attempting to arrest him.

Li Gang from the National Security Team at Mishan City Police Department led two other people and drove from Mishan City to Jiamusi City's No. 7 High School the afternoon of April 26, 2007. They found Wang Shilin's son Wang Miaozhuang at school and planned to force the boy to take them home so they could arrest Wang Shilin and take him back to Mishan City. The school principal questioned their motives, and they began to argue. The police contacted their accomplices at the Shunhe Police Station in Jiamusi City. They yelled loudly and used vulgar language.

Wang Shilin and his son managed to escape with the power of righteous thoughts. Police from Mishan City had personnel from the Jiamusi City Police Department tap Wang Miaozhuang and his classmates' telephones, and all the owners of phones and cell phones that had a connection to Wang Miaozhuang. Police from Mishan City went to Jiamusi City's No. 7 High School again on April 27, 2007 and attempted to arrest Wang Miaozhuang, but they couldn't find the boy. As a result they are now monitoring several of Wang Miaozhuang's classmates who had a telephone conversation with him the day before.

6. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners from Nancha District Arrested

Practitioners Ms. Zhang Haiyan (32 years old) and Ms. Sun Shuqin (41 years old) were reported to police when they were distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials the night of January 18, 2007. Personnel from the Nancha District Police Department arrested them and sent them to the Jiamusi City Detention Center. They were sentenced to forced labor, to be served at the city's Xigemu Forced Labor Camp.

Police arrested 64-year-old practitioner Ms. Yao Guizhi from Nancha District in Yichun City. The arrest happened when she was delivering some Dafa truth-clarificaion materials the afternoon of April 18, 2007. She is presently being held at the district's detention center.

Practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuge, 54 years old, lives in Nancha District, Yichun City. She ventured out of her home on April 23, 2007, planning to take a train to see her severely ill sister. She has not returned since then, and her whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Man Xiaomin, 52 years old, lives in Nancha District, Yichun City. She took the No. 6229 Train from Harbin City to Wuyiling City on her way back to Yichun City the afternoon of April 23, 2007. Train police arrested her and put her into the Jianmusi City Railway Police Station. They then ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer, an MP3 player, a cell phone and a large amount of office supplies. They also confiscated at least 20,000 yuan in personal belongings.

7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Yu Huaicai Tortured to Death

Police arrested practitioner Mr. Yu Huaicai from Hulan District in Harbin City on November 15, 2006. He was held there for ten days and then released. Mr. Yu went to National Security Division police officer Lu Wenxue's office and requested him to return his house key and money Lu had confiscated. However, practitioner Mr. Yu was arrested again. Mr. Yu held a hunger strike in protest. Later on he was transferred to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp for further persecution. He was tortured to death on April 22, 2007.

8. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Chen Ye Arrested

Personnel from the Benxi City Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Chen Ye the morning of April 27, 2007 at his office. Mr. Chen Ye is the Shawo Factory deputy director in the city's Steel Group No. 3 Construction Company. His whereabouts are unknown.

Personnel from the Dagang District Police Department in Tianjin arrested practitioner Mr. Wu Yan from Pingshan District in Benxi City the afternoon of April 19, 2007. Mr. Wu is presently being held at the Benxi City No.1 Detention Center.

10. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Wu Jianying Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Wu Jianying from Jilin City was arrested several months ago. Officers from the Changyi District Procuratorate in Jilin Province sent an arrest certificate to Ms. Wu's home on April 20, 2007. Her family, however, has not been permitted to see Ms. Wu in person.

11. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Several Practitioners

New practitioner Ms. Zhao Yunfeng from the No. 597 Farm in Baoqing County was arrested the night of April 20, 2007. The arrest happened when she was distributing Dafa truth-clarification flyers. Police put her into the Hongxinglong Farm Administration Bureau's Detention Center. Policemen from the bureau and local officers broke into practitioner Ms. Zheng Cuimei's home at 5:00 a.m. on April 25, 2007. They arrested her and her non-practitioner husband. The couple was put into the bureau. Ms. Zheng's husband was released the next day at noon.

In addition, practitioner Ms. Ma Ling was arrested on April 23, 2007. They also arrested practitioner Ms. Yu Fanglan on April 27, 2007 and confiscated Ms. Yu and Ms. Zheng's personal computers and printers. The above four practitioners are presently being held at the bureau. Family visits are all forbidden.

12. [Yitong County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Pei Yu Arrested

Personnel from the National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Pei Yuhua from her home at Menjiatun Village, Yitong Town, Yitong County the evening of April 11, 2007. Police tortured her and then put her into a custody center. Ms. Pei staged a persecution-protest hunger strike. Police transferred Ms. Pei from the custody center to the Yitong Detention Center. They planned to sentence Ms. Pei to long term imprisonment.

13. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Torture of Practitioner Liu Fengqin

Practitioner Ms. Liu Fengqin from the Hailin City Forest Bureau was taped when she was distributing Dafa truth-clarification materials in the community. The bureau's National Security Team chief Chen Binxia led six policemen. They arrested Ms. Liu and ransacked her home. Ms. Liu's two school-aged kids and her paralyzed father need her care.

14. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Sun Hailin Arrested

Personnel from the Kaiyuan Township 610 Office and from the local police station arrested practitioner Mr. Sun Hailin from Wudi Village, Kaiyuan Township, Shulan City on April 23, 2007.

15. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Wang Yanling Sentenced to Forced Labor

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yanling was on the train heading home to Cangshi Township, Qingyuan County on March 8, 2007, when railway police arrested her at the Meihekou Railway Station. They confiscated Ms. Wang's truth-clarification VCDs and sent her to the Tonghua Police Station. Personnel from the county's police department escorted her back and put her into the Dashagou Detention Center on March 10, 2007. They also ransacked her home. Ms. Wang was transferred to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for one year of forced labor on April 9, 2007.

16. [Jilin Province] Supplement and Correction of the Name List of Practitioners Held at the Changchun City Fenjin Forced Labor Camp

In addition to the former list, practitioners Mr. Zhang Jijun and Mr. Cui Zhuyou are also being held at the Changchun City Fenjin Forced Labor Camp. It should be practitioner Yang Jun not Yang Zhong; practitioner Jiao Shoutong not Cui Shoutong.

17. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Zhou Wenyan Arrested

Personnel from the Datong District 610 Office and from the Gaoping Police Station's No. 8 Factory Security Team arrested practitioner Mr. Zhou Wenyan from her home on April 22, 2007. Mr. Zhou is the No. 8 Oil Extraction Factory's No. 4 Mine, No. 401 Team head. Police confiscated a printer and forced his wife, who works at the No. 8 Factory's TV station, to divorce with him.

18. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Bao Zhenying Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Bao Zhenying from Dongliang Town, Fuxin County was reported by his neighbor to police on April 17, 2007. She was arrested from home and is still being held at the local police station.

19. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Zhang Kunping and Xu Chunrui Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Xu Chunrui drove a motorcycle and took practitioner Mr. Zhang Kunping to distribute Falun Gong truth-clarifying flyers in Ebei Township at 2:00 p.m. on April 23, 2007. Some villagers in the township reported them to police at 4:00 p.m. The township's police station deputy chief Shao Haijun led policemen Wang Xingyan, Shi Zhenbiao and Yin Dahai to arrest the two practitioners and put them into the township police station.

Personnel from the Hulin National Security Team took the two practitioners to Dongfanghong City the morning on April 24, 2007. They colluded with personnel from the Dongfanghong National Security Section and ransacked the two practitioners' homes. They confiscated some Dafa books, a box of pamphlets, a cell phone, and 1,200 yuan. They brutally beat the two practitioners and the two practitioners lost a lot of blood. They took the two practitioners to the Dongfanghong Hospital for an intervenous transfusion.

20. [Shanghai] Practitioners Yu Xiangdong and Zhu Pingbo Arrested

Personnel from the Shanghai Steel Company's Police Station broke into practitioner Mr. Yu Xiangdong's home in the Pudong New District at 11:00 a.m. on April 25, 2007. They arrested Mr. Yu and two other practitioners, Mr. Zhu Pingbo and Ms. Li Xuefeng. Ms. Li has been released, but the whereabouts of Mr. Zhu and Mr. Yu are unclear.

21. [Beijing] Practitioner Liu Shuying Arrested and Home Ransacked

Personnel from the Fangshan District Chengguan Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Shuying from the district on April 23, 2007. They ransacked her home and confiscated a lot of Dafa materials and books. They also ransacked practitioner Ms. Li Jinfang's home and confiscated some of Master's writings and an MP3 player. They did not take Ms. Li away because of her poor health. Police also harassed a practitioner surnamed Zhang.

22. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Shi Xiangdong Detained

Practitioner Mr. Shi Xiangdong, an employee of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Administration Bureau, was arrested at noon on April 29, 2007 because he argued with the Shijiazhuang City Committee Party secretary's slandering of Falun Dafa in an ethnic affairs meeting held in Shijiazhuang.

23. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Persecution Incidents regarding Practitioner Chu Ziliang - Belated News

Beicheng Police Station chief Zhao Weimin arrested practitioner Mr. Chu Zilaing from Chengezhuang Village, Gaobeidian City and then sent Mr. Chu to the Bachang Brainwashing Class in Gaobeidian City on December 6, 2004. Mr. Chu was extorted 5,400 yuan and not issued a receipt.

Former Beicheng Police Station head Wang Zhishan took Chu Ziliang to the Beicheng Police Station on October 9, 2000 and detained him for three days. Mr. Chu was extorted 2,000 yuan without being handed a receipt.

Personnel from the Beicheng Police Station and from the Gaobeidian City 610 Office harassed Mr. Chu at his home many times from July 20, 1999 till the end of 2000, even three times in one night once.

24. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Wu Lei and Gao Jian Arrested

Shijiazhuang City Intermediate Court agents held a second court hearing in the case of practitioner Ms. Wang Bo and her parents Mr. Wang Xinzhong and Ms. Liu Shuqin on April 27, 2007. Six righteous attorneys from Beijing pleaded innocence for the family. More than a hundred practitioners who were issued permits to audit the hearing were stopped outside the court. Practitioner Mr. Wu Lei from Zhengding County was arrested when he took photographs with a cell phone. It is said that police also arrested practitioner Mr. Gao Jian.

25. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Deplorable Crimes at the Kaiping District Zhengzhuangzi Police Station -2006 Information

Four practitioners - Ms. Wang Guiqin, Ms. Fu Wenling, Ms. Cao Guimin and Ms. Pan Reizhen - from Zhouzhaozhuang Village went to post truth-clarification materials (phrases such as, "Heaven Eliminates the CCP," "Quit the CCP for a Good Future") on June 28, 2006. Officers Xu Dazhi and others from the Zhengzhuangzi Police Station arrested them. They verbally abused and beat the practitioners and then sent them into the Yuehe Detention Center. The practitioners were forced to attend a brainwashing class during the daytime and work at night. Sometimes they could only sleep two hours daily. They were physically tortured and mentally tormented until they signed "guarantee statements" against their will.

Xu Dazhi sentenced practitioners Wang Guiqin, Fu Wenling and Cao Guimin to one and a half years of forced labor at the Kaiping District Forced Labor Camp on July 27, 2007. The practitioners were refused admittance because of their poor health resulting from torture and were released home. Xu Dazhi ordered Li Ze to harass the three practitioners' families. Police took Cao Guimin away from her home without reason nor warrant on September 18, 2006. They sentenced her to one and a half years of forced labor. Wang Guiqin defied officer Li Ze and chose to leave home. Xu Dazhi was very angry and ordered Li Ze to harass Wang Guiqin's family once a week.

Xu Dazhi assigned Li Ze and others to harass Wang Guiqin's family the morning of February 16, 2007. Wang Guiqin still lives in exile, and nobody takes care of her 83-year-old father. The family could not be reunited.

26.[Shandong Province] Two Practitioners from the Shengli Oil Extraction Factory Hospitalized Because of Persecution

Ms. Sun Yanxia, an employee of the Shengli Oil Extraction Factory's "safeguard team" in the Shengli Oilfield was recently arrested and sent to the Jishu Brainwashing Class. Ms. Sun defied the vicious officers. She lacerated a wrist [note: Falun Gong's teachings strictly forbid self-mutilation] and was sent to the Shengli Oilfield's Center Hospital. She was later transferred to the Shengli Oil Extraction Factory's hospital. Numerous individuals were assigned to monitor Ms. Sun.

Mr. Li Rensong, a retiree from Dongying City Shengli Oil Extraction Factory, in his 60s, lives in the Shengrong Community. Dong Ning, National Security Team chief at the Binbei Police Department has followed and monitored him for six months. Mr. Li's family also bore great pressure. Police did not succeed in arresting him thanks to the family's resistance and protests. Mr. Li has symptoms of heart disease after long-term persecution. He is hospitalized in the Internal Medicine Department of the Shengli Oil Extraction Factory's hospital.

27. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Xu Yugang and Gao Lianyu Sentenced to Forced Labor

Police arrested practitioner Mr. Xu Yugang from Xuankou Village, Dazeshan Town, Pingdu City who had just been released home on April 7, 2007. They took him to the Pingdu Police Department's Detention Center. Mr. Xu and another practitioner, Ms. Gao Lianyu, have been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.

28. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Recent Circumstances of Three Arrested Practitioners

One of the three arrested practitioners from Baofeng County, Pingdingshan City was released with the power of righteous thoughts on April 16, 2007. Practitioner Ms. Chen Xiurong is still being held at the Lushan Detention Center. Practitioner Ms. Shangguan Jiao is being held at the city's No. 1 Detention Center. Practitioner Mr. Li Yanfeng, who faced trial a week ago, is also being held at the No. 1 Detention Center.

Jiujiang City National Security Team head Li Jun and a dozen policemen broke into practitioner Mr. Wang Hechu's Internet Company and arrested him, his wife and Mr. Yin Xiuchun, in his 30s, at 6:00 p.m. on April 22, 2007. The arrest happened when the three practitioners were ready to go home. Police didn't arrest Mr. Wang's wife because of her pregnancy, but local community officers ordered her to abort the fetus. Police ransacked the practitioners' company and their homes. They confiscated all desktop and laptop computers in the company. The whereabouts of Mr. Wang and Mr. Yin are unknown.
Practitioners Dr. Yang, a physician, and Ms. Hu Fangju from Jiujiang City were arrested on April 23, 2007. Practitioners Mr. Xiao Shuimu, Ms. Tang Meili, Ms. Huang Yindi from the Ruichang District, Jiujiang City and practitioner Ms. Chen Fengmei from Nanchang City were arrested in March 2007.

Practitioner Mr. Lei Guoting, over 40 years old, from Guiyang City, was the legal chief of the Baiyun District Government Office in Guiyang City. He was arrested and put into the Guizhou Province Zhongba Forced Labor Camp on March 2, 2004. He suffered long term persecution. After his sentence had expired, police still did not release him. Instead, they forcibly sent him to the Lannigou Brainwashing Class for further persecution.
