Connecticut: Falun Gong's Positive Effect on Physical and Mental Well Being Attracts Residents (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 5, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Connecticut were invited to participate in the "Universal Health Care for Everyone" event held in Bushnell Park, Hartford. Connecticut is an affluent state in the United States, but many people cannot afford expensive health care insurance. This is one of the main reasons for the activity. The miraculous benefits that Falun Gong has brought to tens of millions of practitioners both physically and mentally, and its characteristic of being completely free of charge naturally aroused many people's interest.

Thousands of visitors made the broad park look crowded. Falun Gong practitioners started demonstrating the exercises and telling people about the miraculous effects of Falun Gong in healing illness and keeping fit. In China, the majority of people do not have health care insurance, but since Falun Gong was first introduced to the public in 1992, practitioners have followed the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and have achieved improvements in physical and mental wellbeing, and obtained sound health. Falun Gong has also helped individuals and the country save a large sum in medical expenses. Within a short period of seven years, hundreds of millions of people were practicing Falun Gong. However, in 1999 the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started a brutal persecution of Falun Gong, and it has even gone so far as to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. The health insurance and legal system in the US should inform patients who intend to go to China for organ transplants of this atrocity so that they will not unknowingly become an accomplice to the CCP's killing people for profit.

Many people learned the exercises at the event, and many people took truth-clarifying materials. An older man said after learning the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution that Falun Gong is truly universal health insurance, and it is free of charge.
