Whereas, a Great State is only as great as those persons who give exemplary service on behalf of their community; whether through unique achievement in professional or other endeavors or simply through a lifetime of good deeds; and
Whereas, The 8th Annual World Falun Dafa Day, which will be celebrated on May 13th, 2007, will mark the efforts of the Falun Gong practitioners who believe in living in according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, which benefits society and promotes peaceful relations among all people in the world, and
Resolved, That the members of this delegation pause in our deliberations and recognize that in Falun Dafa, we have a practice that promotes the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of its practitioners and be it further
Resolved, that a duly elected Member of the State Assembly of New York, I recognize that in
Falun Gong
We have an outstanding community of courageous practitioners, who are worthy of the esteem of the great state of New York
