When You Believe in Master and Dafa with Rock-Solid Determination, Nothing Can Stop You

(Clearwisdom.net) With firm belief in Master and Falun Dafa, over the last few years I passed many tests, big and small. I would have died a long time ago had I not practiced Falun Gong.

I used to suffer from heart disease, inflammation of the windpipes, muscular atrophy and chronic diarrhea, among other illnesses. I was eventually diagnosed with colon cancer and was repeatedly hospitalized, but was never cured. When the cancer progressed to its terminal stage, I lapsed into critical condition as soon as I left the hospital. After undergoing medical treatment for a long time, my family's finances were drained and we could not even afford to buy food. For me, life had reached its end. In 1997 I went everywhere begging for pills in order to survive. Once, when I asked a Falun Gong practitioner for pills he said, "Why are you still asking for medication? We practice Falun Gong and we are completely illness-free. You should come and practice Falun Gong with us."

I decided to give it a try. I went to a Falun Gong practice site where they were playing Master's lecture videos. As I sat before the television I felt something digging into my palms. I joined the group exercise the next day. I got a bad stomachache during the middle of the exercises on the fourth day, and I had to relieve myself in my pants because I could not find a public restroom. The same thing happened several times, and I would rush to the nearest restroom whenever my stomach started to hurt. After a while the diarrhea stopped and it was gone forever. Next, I started coughing up lots of white foam and phlegm. The cough was quite severe, and my family told me to go to the hospital. I firmly refused. After coughing for a week, my windpipe condition disappeared.

I continued studying Falun Gong books and doing the exercises, and my heart disease and muscular atrophy also disappeared. Falun Gong not only restored my health, it also improved my family life, and saved the government lots of money in medical expenses. Firsthand experience in the last few years have shown what a wonderful practice Falun Gong is. It benefits individual and society. I will definitely continue to practice Falun Gong.

Fa study helped me to gradually develop understandings of Dafa principles and the meaning of human life. I gradually melted into the Fa. The first thing I do every day is the five sets of exercises before going out to clarify the truth. I study Dafa books in the evening. Fa study enables me to correctly handle everything that happens in my life. I no longer grow smug when something good happens, and I stopped getting upset when something bad happens. I now realize why we have karma and why we have tribulations.

My understanding of Dafa principles and my strong willpower has helped me pass every test. Once when I was standing on a bus, a biker suddenly appeared in front of the bus and the bus driver braked suddenly. Everyone standing in the bus fell to the floor, including me. The fall was so violent that I lost consciousness. After a while I heard someone crying. I opened my eyes and saw many injured people. Some had broken legs, and some had broken shoulders. The bus driver said, "Those who are hurt--don't leave. I will take you to the hospital." Someone pointed at me and said, "This old lady probably is not going to make it." I answered, "It's not a problem. I practice Falun Gong!" I slowly stood up and walked off the bus. I survived the fall without a scratch and had absolutely no pain. I heard someone saying, "Oh, so she practices Falun Gong! She would have died if she didn't practice Falun Gong!" It seems people already know that Falun Gong is good.

Soon I encountered another major tribulation. It took place on January 28, 2002 [lunar calendar]. I slipped as I was walking out of the restroom in my home. I fell on the steps on my back and banged my head on the floor and could not move. I was the only person home at the time. It took me a very long time to crawl onto the couch in the living room. I could not move an inch after I made it to the couch. When my daughter came home in the evening she saw that my entire back was black and blue. She was so frightened that she started crying. I tried to comfort her and said, "It's okay! I practice Falun Gong. Master will take care of me as long as I truly practice Dafa. Just you wait, I'll get well quickly!" I sat immobile on the couch for three days. In the evening of the third day my daughter slowly carried me to my bed. I had a dream while half-asleep. I saw a dead tree sprouting new buds which turned into large pink flowers blossoming in the wind. It was beautiful! When I woke up, I realized I had passed this test. The dead tree coming back to life meant I was confronting a life-and-death tribulation. I firmly believed in Master and Dafa and gave up the attachment to life and death. Master's protection and mighty power revived me, and I recovered within two weeks. People who had suggested I go to the hospital said, "Falun Gong is truly miraculous! We should also practice Falun Gong!"

I diligently carried out the three things required of Dafa practitioners to express my gratitude to Master. I also continued doing the exercises. My celestial eye is closed, but I feel that Master is always protecting me. Once I had a dream in which I saw a large crack in the wall of my home, and the wall was going to collapse. I did not understand this message and continued doing the three things as usual. The next morning after I left home, I saw a police car following me around, but I was not afraid and still did what I should do. Suddenly, an acquaintance showed up and took me to his home and kept me there for a long time. The police car finally left. He told me, "I was sleeping when I suddenly remembered my shoes were broken and I need to have them repaired. I immediately got up and went out. When I saw you, I forgot about my shoes." Obviously, Master made him come and help me escape danger. After this incident I realized that Master was giving me a hint about the imminent danger in the dream, but I did not understand it.

In spring 2005 I was attached to flower gardening and I fell from the windowsill while watering the flowers. My ribcage hit the sharp corner of a square stool, and it felt as if I was being stabbed with a knife. No one else was home, so I tried my best to get to the couch. I could not sit down, however, because the pain was unbearable every time I tried to sit. Tears streamed down my face despite my best efforts to hold them back. Eventually I was able to call my brother and ask him to come over. He immediately came over with his daughter. I said, "The last time I had a pretty bad fall I recovered in a few days! Master will protect me if I truly believe in Him and truly practice Dafa. Don't worry about me, as I have Master and Dafa!" They saw my determination and helped me lie down in my bed. After taking care of me for a week I asked my niece to go home, because she had to take care of her child. After she left I could not get up from the bed. My niece called me and asked about my condition. I told her, "I am fine, you don't need to come here." I did not want to burden her. But after I hung up the phone I could not get up. I could barely lift my body a few inches before collapsing in exhaustion. I kept trying for four hours. In the end I pleaded with Master to help me and said, "Master, I must pass this test." Again, I started to push myself up. Finally, I put my head on top of a cabinet and I pushed with my head and arms. This time I got up and dared not lie down again. I put my feet on the floor next to the cabinet. I sat in bed, leaning against a quilt. After another two weeks I could lie down and get up on my own, and I gradually recovered.

Master gave me everything that I have today. From now on I will strive forward even more diligently, and do well with the three things in tremendous appreciation of Master's protection.
