Solemn Declaration By Dafa Disciples

Since July 20, 1999, Falun Dafa has been severely persecuted. In March of 2000, I was put in a brainwashing class for sixteen days, and was forced to pay 10,000 yuan. At that time I had a strong attachment of fear, therefore, I stopped believing in Dafa and Teacher. Under pressure from the authorities, I wrote statements that did not conform to Dafa, but compassionate Teacher did not give up on me. As I studied the Fa and looked within, I constantly rectified all the deviated factors. I now solemnly declare: the statements I wrote are invalid. All of my deeds that are negative toward Dafa are invalid. I will closely follow Teacher, firmly cultivate in Dafa, do the three things well, and return to my origin with righteous thoughts.

We started practicing Falun Gong in April of 1998. After practicing Falun Gong all of our diseases, including high blood pressure, heart disease, and arthritis were cured. We benefited so much mentally and physically. As a result my family is full of joy and happiness. After April 25, 1999, we began to be monitored. Every time we went out we had to manage to escape from the "monitor" in order to meet with fellow practitioners. One month before the persecution started we were confined and deprived of our freedom.

After July 20, of 1999, I was investigated by a "specialized case team" and was monitored day and night. My phone was tapped, I was followed everywhere I went and watched all the time. We were groundlessly accused and framed. They asked us to turn in Dafa books and materials. They illegally broke into our home to search for Dafa books and materials, and threatened that our children and relatives' lives would be endangered, and we would be expelled from work, sentenced to prison and/or given the death penalty.

They expelled our relatives from work, causing them to lose their income. Some vicious individuals fabricated lies and reported us to the authorities. We consequently suffered torture. Under this pressure, we burned Dafa books, materials and Teacher's portrait. On July 29, 1999, under the pressure from the evil organization and the "specialized case team," I said words that were disrespectful to Dafa and Teacher. Against my will, I wrote things they wanted me to write and agreed not to practice Falun Dafa. We orally agreed with our officials in our work unit that "We will not practice the exercises in public, will not contact local people and will only practice at home." I said things that I should never say, and did things that I should never do. I smeared Dafa, and left a stain on my cultivation path.

Now I solemnly declare: While under the pressure from the evil Party, all of my words and deeds that are negative toward Dafa are invalid. I will closely follow Teacher, firmly cultivate in Dafa and do the three things well.
