Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Shiting Township, Laishui County, Hebei Province


(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 20, 1999, the authorities in Shiting Township, Laishui County of Hebei Province have carried out persecution of local Falun Gong practitioners. They torture and extort money from practitioners, and when they ransack their homes, they take everything they see.

The following are a few cases of Shiting Township Falun Gong practitioners suffering persecution.

Wang Shuhua and Mu Ximei are residents of Shiting Township, Laishui County. On August 10, 2000, they went to Beijing to appeal, and were taken back by the Laishui Police Department to Laishui Communist Party School for persecution. The Communist Party School extorted 3260 yuan each from Wang Shuhua and Mu Ximei.

The Shiting Township Communist Party government, with Li Yamin as Head, detained Falun Gong practitioners Dong Yanjun, Qiu Yulan, Chang Zhenying, Liu Yuchun, etc. in the garage of Shiting Township and forbade them to have food. Liu Yuchun's family has only 3 children left at home without care, and they have all stopped attending school.
