A Drug Addict Treats Practitioners Kindly and Has Hair Grow Back

Having heard that the daughter of a relative had been jailed two years ago for taking drugs, I gave her a copy of a truth-clarification article, "A Letter to the Beijing Residents." When she read the letter, she screamed with surprise. "I was asked to do the same thing to a Falun Gong practitioner when I was in jail. Everything it says here is true. Why does this still happen? Isn't it disgraceful?" Overwhelmed by the incident, she related to us her experience while she was in jail.

"At the beginning, the supervisor wanted the eight of us (drug addict inmates) to threaten a Falun Gong practitioner. The supervisor said that she couldn't care less what methods we used, as long as the practitioner was willing to give up the practice. If we did not succeed, we would be punished, too. Apart from using brutal force and abusive language on the practitioner, what else could we do? When our drug addictions got the better of us, we went all the way and beat the daylights out of the person. I, however, was softhearted. I simply could not bear seeing another person being beaten that way. When I saw the righteousness of the practitioner, I showed great respect for her and was moved by her integrity.

I tried to persuade her to stop practicing. I told her that when she went home she could do whatever she liked and would not have to suffer all this punishment. Seeing that I was kindhearted, she secretly taught me the principles of Falun Dafa and told me to constantly recite "Falun Dafa is good. Truth, Compassion, Forbearance is good."

Later, the wardens wanted me to threaten another practitioner. From this other person, I learned a lot more about Falun Dafa, and I managed to memorize many poems from Hong Yin as well. Every day, whenever I had a chance, I recited those poems to myself. One day, I suddenly discovered that hair started to grow on the one-inch diameter bald spot on my head. I showed it to others and they were also surprised. By the end of my two months in jail, my hair had grown completely over the spot, and my hair grew normally again. The whole thing was rather mysterious, but it gave me more confidence in Falun Dafa. Practitioners all seem to be good people."

After listening I said to the girl: "It is because you treated the practitioner kindly and you constantly recited 'Falun Dafa is good' that you were rewarded. Our master is merciful, and Dafa is merciful. You will be blessed for what you have done. I hope you will get rid of your drug addiction and live as a good person again." She responded that she would want to follow the path of Dafa in the future.
