Two Sisters Are Persecuted in Rushan City, Shandong Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Because of being steadfast in their belief,
practitioners Ms. Feng Xilan and her sister, Ms. Feng Xisong, have been
persecuted in Rushan City, Shandong Province. Feng Xilan was sentenced to nine
years of imprisonment. She was released in early April 2007 when her life was in
danger due to torture. Feng Xisong was arrested by the Rushan State Security
Group in mid-April and was sentenced of two years in a forced labor camp. While she was detained by the Rushan State Security Group, Feng Xilan was not
allowed to sit down or sleep for more than ten days, and was also subjected to
brainwashing. Studying the Fa or doing the exercises was not
permitted at the detention center, and her health became poor. In February 2007,
she was sent to Shandong Provincial Women's Prison where she was diagnosed with
a tumor in her uterus. The prison then sent her back to the Rushan Detention
Center, where her health declined. During that time, her older sister, Feng Xisong, went to the detention
center, the court, the Political and Legal Committee and other places to
clarify the truth, hoping to get Xilan released. The police did not
release her until her life was in danger in early April. In mid April, Wang
Jinlu and others from Rushan State Security then arrested Xisong and sentenced
her to two years of forced labor. After being home for almost a month, Feng Xilan has still not regained her
health. She has symptoms of ill health in her stomach, lower back, and legs. Feng Xilan was also persecuted financially. When she was detained, her home
was searched by the Rushan State Security Group. The authorities have refused to
return her belongings.
