Germany: Small Town of Halle-Saale Happily Greets Falun Dafa Practitioners (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 26, 2007, practitioners held Falun Dafa Information Day activities to show the magnificence and peacefulness of Falun Dafa as well as expose the facts about the on-going persecution in China to people in Halle-Saale, a small town in Germany with old history.

Situated in the state of Sachsen-Anhalt, Halle-Saale used to be an important chemistry education center in East Germany. It is the home of the world famous Martin Luther University and is an important railway hub in eastern Germany.

Falun Gong practitioners set up an information desk in the busiest and most famous square in front of the city hall. As the weather was very good that weekend, many people visited the square with high spirits.

As soon as the display boards exposing the persecution of Falun Gong in China and the atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners were set up, curious Halle residents came to view the information in crowds. In addition, they raised questions from time to time and listened to practitioners' explanations attentively. Once a practitioner was talking to a resident, others would come over to listen to the explanation in circles. They even took the initiative to discuss related topics in small groups. Witnessing people's compassion and conscientiousness as well as their seriousness in discussing these topics, the practitioners on the scene were deeply moved.

Many residents read the display boards one after another, and some even came back to view the information two or three times. After reading the truth-clarification materials they had taken home, a few came back to ask further questions and sign the petition against the persecution. The petitions calling for putting an end to the persecution and urging the Chinese Communist regime to release the illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners Wang Xiaoyan and Jiang Renzheng were filled one after another. Facing the Chinese Communist regime's atrocious tyranny, residents of Halle really showed their great sense of justice. They condemned the evil Chinese Communist regime's brutality one after another, and showed their support for Dafa practitioners with their actions.

After viewing the display boards, a German woman told a practitioner that she used to be a teacher in East Germany and was requested by the school authorities to join the Communist Party, but she insisted on not doing so. After East Germany dissolved, she felt pleased to have made the right choice. In particular, when seeing the vicious CCP persecuting people believing in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" so cruelly in China today, she felt again how right her choice back then was.

A middle-aged man approached the information desk with tears in his eyes. While signing the petition, he said, "They are really too cruel to do this, to remove Falun Gong practitioners' organs while they were still alive."

After reading all the information thoroughly, a German youngster took the initiative to ask practitioners for more flyers, saying that he would pass the material to his relatives, colleagues and friends so as to help more people get to know the Chinese Communist regime's inhuman acts.
