Norway: Demonstration at the Chinese Embassy in Oslo (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Despite pouring rain, several Falun Gong practitioners in Norway held a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Oslo on June 1st, 2007. They demonstrated against the Chinese regime's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and showed their support for the twenty -three million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

In March 2006, the first witness appeared and exposed the Chinese regime's crimes of stealing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners are shortly afterward cremated to remove evidence of the crime and the organs are sold for huge profits. The information has later been confirmed by others. Some months later, two independent Canadian investigators, David Kilgour, former Canadian MP and Secretary of State for the Asia Pacific region and David Matas, renowned human rights lawyer, published their report. They described the organ harvesting as "a disgusting form of evil which, despite all the depravities humanity has seen, is new to this planet". In addition, the UN's Special Rapporteur for Torture Manfred Nowak discussed the organ harvesting in his report in March of this year. He said, "Organ harvesting has been inflicted on a large number of unwilling Falun Gong practitioners at a wide variety of locations, for the purpose making available organs for transplant operations."

At the same time, Falun Gong practitioners in Norway showed their support for the twenty three million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP is responsible for unimaginable crimes and is now carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong. The withdrawals started after the international newspaper The Epoch Times published a series named Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. It is popular among the Chinese citizens, but feared by the CCP. It exposes the CCP's nature, how the CCP has seized and kept the power with the use of lies, threats, terror and violence. The number of withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organizations is increasing by about 30,000 each day, and it looks as if the CCP is soon going to crumble from within.

The police was present during the protest. One of the policemen had read all the information that was attached to the application for the event. He was interested to find out more about the injustice done to Falun Gong. During the manifestation, the police car was parked close to the area and provided protection to the practitioners.

Several drivers stopped to read our poster and banners, and showed their support by giving us a thumbs-up. Two construction workers passed by and wanted to hear more about the protest. Later, they left with a sincere "Good luck!"
