Ms. Lin Bingju from Guangzhou City Suffered a Torture-Induced Mental Breakdown at Chaiou Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lin Bingju from the Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, is being held at Chaotou Forced Labor Camp. She suffered physical and mental torture so severe that she had a mental breakdown. The camp guards induced drug addict inmates to beat her head and abdominal area. They forced her to read literature that slandered Dafa everyday and forbade her to sleep until after midnight.

Lin Bingju distributed truth-clarifying materials in her residential area on March 6, 2007. A person who did not know the facts reported her to the police. She was arrested and detained at Haizhu District Detention Center for 15 days. On the 16th day they sent her to the notorious Chatou Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guangzhou for one year of forced labor.

Ms. Lin's family had been looking for her since the day she was detained. They went to the local 610 Office, the street administrative committee, and the police station many times trying to see her. They did not get to visit her when she was in the detention center. It was not until she had staged a hunger strike for eight days in the labor camp that her family finally got to visit her after labor camp officials strongly demanded it.

Lin Bingju was on the verge of a mental breakdown after long-term torture at the forced labor camp. She was already showing symptoms of being mentally disordered when her family members visited her. Her weight had dropped from approximately 60 kg to 40 kg.

She had many diseases before she practiced Falun Gong, and her poor health made her a hot-tempered person. Her relationship with her mother-in-law was very bad. After she started cultivating, she changed dramatically. With a healthy body and an up-lifted spirit, the impasse between her and her mother-in-law naturally disappeared. Her mother-in-law now praises her whenever she speaks to anyone.

Lin Bingju was sentenced to forced labor only because she wanted to be a better person and have a healthy body. What's even worse, one official even attempted to kill one of her relatives because the relative kept going to the local street administrative committee, forced labor camp and the 610 Office to demand Ms. Lin's release and expose their evildoings. One day at noon the relative was crossing an intersection pushing a bicycle when the renegade official rammed a van into her. The bicycle was smashed flat. It's evident the CCP has become extremely vicious.
