Dafa disciple Lao Li was illegally detained in a brainwashing center. During the first ten days of May, his wife (practitioner), daughter (non-practitioner) and another two relatives (practitioners) went to the brainwashing center three times to ask for his release and to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. The head of the brainwashing center called the police and threatened to abduct them each time. Dafa disciples clarified the truth to the police and were able to rescue Lao Li.

On the second day they went to the brainwashing center again. People in the brainwashing center refused to open the door. The head of the brainwashing center opened the door briefly and shouted fiercely, "You wait!" After a while one police car arrived, and three officers came out and stood around them. They did not fear and told the policemen again and again that Falun Gong practitioners are all good people and that if they persecuted Falun Gong, they would bring harm to themselves in the end. The policemen nodded frequently and then retreated. The head of the brainwashing center did not have any way to stop them.

When they went to the brainwashing center the third time, the head of the brainwashing center called the police again. Two police cars arrived and six policemen tried take them away. Li's wife said, "Is there anything wrong with coming to visit our relative? Isn't it illegal to arrest people without just cause? You did not succeed in brainwashing him after such a long time. You want to change him, change him into what? Before cultivation he smoked, drank alcohol, played Mahjong and stayed out all night. Since practicing Falun Gong, he got rid of all his bad habits, worked hard, and helped me do the housework, and he became a good person. If you want to change him back, I will not agree to it." The head of the brainwashing center had nothing to say. At last, the policemen said, "Leave here as soon as possible. We will never arrest you."

One morning in April, one senior Dafa disciple went to the bank to deposit 70,000 yuan, but the clerk wrote it down as 700,000 yuan. The Dafa disciple went back home and found out there was an extra zero after the seven and it was 700,000 yuan. He talked about it with his wife, also a practitioner, and they both went back to the bank to do the correction immediately. After they explained it to them, the clerk and the chief were moved and thanked them again and again. They wanted to send them gifts and wrote them a thank you letter. The Dafa disciple said, "My wife and I are Falun Gong practitioners. You can thank our Master if you want. It is our Master who teaches us to be honest and considerate of others."

At the same time they clarified the truth about Falun Gong and quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). The clerk said that someone had already helped him to quit the CCP, and the chief also agreed to quit. At last, he said they should not fire this clerk due to a mistake. The clerk was moved to tears. The chief said, "You are so compassionate!" Normally, when something like this happens in a bank, the person who made mistake and the chief would both be punished.

Several days later, the Dafa disciple went to the bank again, took truth-clarifying materials to them and clarified the truth to them again. Many employees at the bank learned the truth about Dafa because of this incident.
