Negating the Persecution in Our Mind

(Clearwisdom.net) In the article "Rectify Every Thought" on the Clearwisdom website (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2007/6/3/86391.html), there is a paragraph that says, "In fact we are putting ourselves in the position of being persecuted and in doing so, we are recognizing the old forces' arrangements. We think, 'As long as we study Falun Dafa and distribute Dafa materials, we will be persecuted.'" I have some understandings about that idea.

Master requires us to fundamentally deny all of the old forces' arrangements. However, as we have been protesting the persecution during the past few years, we have still been thinking that we don't have a solution for the persecution. Master says in Zhuan Falun, "I'm going to tell you, in reality, matter and mind are one and the same." (The First Talk, "Why Doing Cultivation Exercises Doesn't Increase Gong")

This incorrect thought is arranged by the old forces. It makes use of this thought to reach its goal of persecution. Therefore, because of this incorrect thought, the evil can continue to persecute us, so we should let it go. We should pay attention to our safety and protesting the persecution, both of which are validating the Fa on the level of ordinary people. Our goal is to fulfill our prehistoric promises rather than be forced to cultivate under persecution.

This is just my personal understanding.
