Solemn Declaration

At the beginning I began to practice Falun Gong for better health and fitness. I was not clear about Dafa's true meaning when the evil started to persecute Falun Gong. At that time, my workplace held an urgent meeting and asked everyone to hand over all Falun Gong books.

Therefore I handed over all my books. Later on, I heard that my home would be searched. At that time, because I had a strong attachment of fear, I burnt Teacher's picture and threw away three small Falun badges into the garbage. Later on, through reading Dafa truth clarification materials, I can understand that Dafa is a righteous Fa, Teacher Li comes to save people and the "self-immolation" on Tiananmen Square was a staged act. I apologize to Teacher Li and solemnly declare that all I've done that wasn't in accordance with Dafa and disrespect Teacher are void. I will strive to be good and follow Truth, Compassion and Tolerance.

We simply did not know Falun Gong before. Suddenly in July 1999, radios, TV stations, newspapers spread propaganda for people not to practice Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal were all arrested and imprisoned. Later on, TV stations broadcast the "Tiananmen self-immolation," which poisoned us. So we misunderstood the practice. At that time, some of our family members practiced. This scared us and we hid their books, fearing they would be arrested if they kept practicing. Through listening to Dafa truth-clarification and reading Dafa materials and videos, and especially since reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, we all awakened. We understand now that all the reports by Chinese Communist Party are false; they are fabricated rumors and slander. The Chinese Communist Party has persecuted Dafa for eight years and killed many people. They also harvest organs from live practitioners to obtain huge profits. Heaven will destroy the Chinese Communist Party and that is inevitable and justly deserved. Now we fully realize that only Dafa can save people and asks people to be good. We solemnly declare that what we said and did before to disrespect Teacher and Dafa are void. We will thoroughly rectify our misdeeds, support Dafa, believe that Falun Dafa is good, and help to make up for the mistakes.
