The following practitioners are known to have been severely persecuted:

In the Recovery Supervised area:

Mr. Yang Guang has been persecuted for five years. His legs are paralyzed and he can only move his arms slightly. He is extremely thin.

Mr. Cai Limin, Mr. Sun Defeng, and Mr. Sun Changjun all have tuberculosis.

In the Clothing Supervised area no 2: Mr. Sun Qian uberculosis.

In the Supervised area No. 3: Mr. Shi Wenzhuo has constant headaches after being beaten. He also developed symptoms of heart disease after being tortured.

Mr. Yun Qingbin has been illegally detained for three months. As a result of torture, he's now mentally unstable. He is very weak and cannot walk unaided.

Supervised area No. 10:

Mr. Zhang Hongwei has been illegally detained at a brainwashing center and in a "small cell" in the prison for more than two years. He has serious tuberculosis and liver cirrhosis ascites.

On May 9, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Feng Liping was illegally arrested. Mr. Feng has been taken to the Changchun City Public Security Hospital. His arm is broken and his stomach is injured.

Practitioner Mr. Qian Gentai, his wife Ms. Zhang Xingji, and their daughter Ms. Qian Meilan were arrested on May 9. They were taken to the Erdao District Rongguang Police Station. They were illegally put on trial and their property has been confiscated. They are currently detained at the Changchun No. 3 Detention Center.

On May 10, 2007, kindergarten teacher and practitioner Ms. Su was arrested while at work by Zuo Zhonglin, squadron chief of public security at the Luyuan District Police Station in Changchun City.

On the morning of June 8, 2007, five practitioners from Wanggang Township, including Ms. Guan Lihua, Mr. Wu Bo, and Mr. Gu Qingsong, were arrested by Wanggang Township police. Their homes were searched and some Dafa books were taken. They are currently being detained at the Harbin 7th police station.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Hongbo from Zhaodong was arrested by police on the evening of June 5, 2007. Mr. Sun is currently being detained at the Baodaojie Beitou Detention Center.

Mr. Lin Jongping, 36, is practitioner from Waifangdian, Dalian. He was detained illegally for four years, and as a result he is suffering from bone necrosis and walks with difficulty.

On May 22, 2007, Wafangdian police broke into Mr. Li's sister's home and arrested him. Mr. Lin is being detained at the Wafangdian Detention Center.

Ms. Zhang Hongfeng was a teacher at Antu County Yongqing Elementary School. Ms. Zhang was arrested in May 2007 for distributing truth clarification fliers. She is currently detained at the Antu County Detention Center.

In mid-April 2007, Ms. Zhang Meirong, 68, a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Nankou area, Changping County, Beijing, was illegally arrested. On May 11, Mr. Sun Lixiang, 70 and from the same area, was arrested as well. They have been taken to the Changping Brainwashing Center.

In April 2007, Ms. Xu Wei, a practitioner from Beijing, was arrested at her home in Beijing. Currently her whereabouts are unclear. Her mother died several years ago as a result of the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Guan Yingshan, 55, was arrested by the Haidian police on May 1, 2007, when he was distributing truth clarification materials. He was initially detained at the Haidian Detention Center. His current location is unknown.

In 2001, Mr. Guan was reported when he was distributing truth clarification materials and arrested by personnel from the Hepingjie Police Station in the Chaoyang District. He was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp, and because of that he lost his job.

On the evening of June 2, 2007, Ms. Wang Ying, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jiaonan City, distributed truth clarification materials in Gujiayantou Village, Dazhushan Township. She was reported by a local and arrested by Xiaokouzi police.

Mr. Yan Wencheng from Wujiawa Village, Yishui County was arrested on May 2, 2007. He was beaten by police and severely injured. Even now he hasn't fully recovered. Mr. Yan is now being detained past the legal limit at Yishui Detention Center. Mr. Yan's second daughter, who is a minor, has been sentenced to a forced labor camp.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Kai, a college student from Qingdao, was arrested by Qingdao Sifang District police at the end of April 2007. He is currently being detained at the Dashan Second Detention Center in Qingdao City.

On June 2, 2007, Ms. Jin Chengnyu was reported when she was clarifying the truth at Beiguo Village, Zhengjia Township. She was arrested by Zhengjia Township police and is now detained in Liaocheng.

On May 28, 2007, Ms. Hao Wen, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Dongnandian, Waxia, was illegally arrested by Zhuangyuan police when she was distributing truth clarification materials on the street.

On the morning of June 5, 2007, Feng Haibo, the director of the Zhuhan Twonship Police Station in Changle County, Weifang City, brought several policemen to the home of Mr. Li Yanshuang, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Longshan Village. They searched Mr. Li's home and took away a computer, a printer, a VCD player, and 1,000 yuan in cash. Mr. Li tried to stop them and was beaten unconscious. Then police carried him to the police car. Later police also searched the home of Mr. Meng Qianlu and arrested him. Police also took some Dafa books and truth clarification materials.

Mr. Li and Mr. Meng were taken to the county detention center.

Mr. Li Xiangjie, a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Fengrun District, Tangshan City, was arrested by police on the evening of September 28, 2006, when he was carrying copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He was put on trial on December 24 and sentenced to four years. On June 6, 2007, Mr. Li was taken to the Tangshan Yidong Prison.

On the morning of June 3, 2007, Ms. Fu Xiuduo, Ms. Ju Guiqing, and Ms. Dang Shuying, all practitioners from Zhangjiakou City, were arrested by plainclothes police. They were clarifying the truth in Yangjiafen in Zhangjiakou when someone reported them. They are being detained at the Zhangjiakou Shisanli Detention Center.

20. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] More on the Arrest of Three Practitioners

On the evening of April 23, 2007, practitioners Ms. Ji Yuhua, Ms. Wang Sulan, and Ms. Ning Ning were posting truth clarification banners on the street. Three police officers arrested them. They were taken to the Zhangjiakou Shisanli Detention Center for 15 days of detention. They were fined 360 yuan each.
