(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Fan Xichen, 56, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Heping District of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He was formerly employed by the No. 3 House Property Section of Shenyang Railway Bureau. After he started to practice Falun Gong in 1998, he benefited greatly in his physical and mental wellbeing. The diabetes, neurasthenia and headaches he suffered in the past were miraculously cured without any treatment. To appeal the persecution of Falun Gong that started in July 1999, Mr. Fan went to Beijing in October 2000. He was illegally arrested and sent to Longshan Brainwashing Center in Shenyang City. Three months later, he was sentenced to three years of forced labor at Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang.

Mr. Fan suffered physical abuse at Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp, including deprivation of sleep, long periods of squatting and standing, etc. The physical abuse he endured caused him to have headaches and toothaches, and half of his face was always very swollen. It was difficult for him to chew any food. In order to force him to renounce his belief, the guards had him transferred to the third, fourth and sixth teams. He was forced to do slave labor such as packaging chopsticks, inserting bristles into brushes, making grill plates for barbecues, etc. He was repeatedly sent to the brainwashing session in Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp.

In October 2003, Mr. Fan's forced labor term expired, but another three months was added because he refused to renounce his belief. He was finally released in January 2004. Those responsible for persecuting Mr. Fan in Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp are: political instructor Song Baishun, political commissar Cheng Diankun, deputy section leader of the Management Department Shi Fengyou, etc.

At the beginning of September 2004, Mr. Fan Xichen was arrested at work and sent to Fushun (Luotai Mountain Village) Brainwashing Center. He was released after more than a month.

In the spring of 2006, many practitioners from Shenyang were arrested one after another in Beijing and Shenyang. National Security Protection Team officers in Shenyang threatened to arrest more practitioners. This news was spread to Mr. Fan, giving him great mental pressure. He was getting thinner every day, and his health was deteriorating. He died on May 9, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yunqing, 37, from Yuhong District, Shenyang City started to practice Falun Gong in 1998. She became very healthy and her family relationships became harmonious. After the persecution started, members of the local Residents' Committee repeatedly visited her home and harassed her, trying to force her to renounce her belief. They also pressured her husband, who does not practice Falun Gong. Ms. Li stopped practicing Falun Gong. Later on, her brother was illegally arrested and sent to a forced labor camp for practicing Falun Gong. The police also pushed Ms. Li into the police van, and took the house key from her and searched her home. After being threatened by the police and seeing her family being persecuted, Ms. Li started to lose a lot of weight and became very thin. She also vomited as soon as she ate anything. The hospital doctors said that she couldn't be cured. In October 2005, Ms. Li Yunqing made a solemn declaration to practice Falun Gong again, and started to clarify the facts about Falun Gong. All her symptoms vanished and she became a healthy person again.

In April 2006, Ms. Li's brother was arrested by Tiexi Nation Security Protection Team officers and Weigong Local Police Station officers. Ms. Li went to the police station to get her brother and clarify the facts about Falun Gong. Her brother was released the same afternoon. In July 2006, officers from Tiexi again went to her brother's home to harass his family. Ms. Li was under great mental pressure and her body started to show symptoms again. She died September 9, 2006.

Practitioner Ms. Ma Dezhi, 67, was from Linghe District, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. She started to practice Falun Gong in June 1996. Before practicing Falun Gong, she had asthma, trachea disease and heart disease, which couldn't be cured by taking medicine or having injections. After she started to practice Falun Gong, all her illnesses were healed. Ms. Ma did not know how to read, but with her firm belief in Dafa, she was able to read Zhuan Falun not long after she obtained the book. People around her all witnessed the miraculous power of Dafa.

After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Ma Dezhi firmly continued her cultivation in Dafa. On the evening of October 12, Ms. Ma was illegally arrested by the police from the Public Security Bureau when she was doing the Falun Gong exercises in the park of the Municipal Party Committee. She was later sent to Jinzhou Detention Center (more than 40 practitioners were arrested at that time). She was released after several days.

On May 25, 2000, Ms. Ma went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. She was arrested by the police at Tiananmen Square, and later sent back to her home city by the Jinzhou police stationed in Beijing. She was then sent to Jinzhou Detention Center. In the detention center, she was persecuted until she became critically ill for refusing to renounce her belief of Falun Gong. The detention center officials released her after 10 days, fearing she would die in the center.

Having been arrested twice, and continuously harassed by the local police and local Residents' Committee, Ms. Ma Dezhi's life was full of worry and trouble. However, Ms. Ma Dezhi gave no thoughts to personal losses. She often told people how Falun Dafa was persecuted and about her personal experiences of practicing Falun Gong. Those who heard her all learned about the wickedness of the Chinese Communist Party and expressed that they would not be involved in persecuting good people anymore.

In these several years, the wicked Party's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners escalated, which brought great mental pressure and damage to Ms. Ma Dezhi. She died on September 17, 2006. Her family was in deep sorrow.
