(Clearwisdom.net) On June 22, 2007, Tainan County Council member Tsengwang Yayun proposed a motion in County Council to condemn the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. The motion passed. As of this date, 19 of the 23 counties and cities in Taiwan have signed the resolution.

In the resolution, the County Council of Tainan calls upon international society to conduct investigations of the organ harvesting in China, requests the federal government to advise citizens not to travel to China for organ transplants, and requests that the government publicize information about the CCP's illegal live organ removals.

Su Huanchi, mayor of Tainan County, condemned the CCP brutality. He said that the county government will collaborate with the council.

Tsengwang Yayun said that it is our responsibility to protect human rights, even though there is pressure. She said that more people should pay attention to this brutal persecution.

Ms. Shi Lihui, a Falun Gong practitioner, said, "I am very glad that the motion was passed. I hope everyone will help to stop it and condemn the CCP brutality."
