To Break Through the Old Forces' Arrangements We Must Study the Fa Well and Get Rid of Attachments

(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago I read an article from the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, which listed the practitioners detained in a prison in our local area and mentioned the persecution they suffered. Those practitioners often coordinated with each other with their Dafa work. I was also in regular contact with them. During 2005, the coordinator in our local area and nearly all the practitioners who participated in our local material site's work, were forcibly taken to either a prison, a forced labor camp or a brainwashing center to be persecuted. This is not only a manifestation of the last-ditch struggle of the evil, but also manifests because our practitioners and whole body have omissions.

I read some articles about the persecution to these practitioners a few times, and I remembered a lot of things that had happened in the past. Whether we're responsible for downloading materials from the Internet or for producing truth-clarifying materials, whether we're coordinators, or work on some other projects, we're always tested as to whether we can consider ourselves as Falun Dafa practitioners and constantly get rid of our attachments. Some examples are the attachment to achieving goals, the attachment to being above others and the attachment of zealotry during Dafa work. If we don't improve our xinxing very well and if we don't wake up and look inward straight away when the evil takes advantage of fellow practitioners' omissions to arrest them, the consequences can be serious. I believe that the sentences of practitioners in court usually depends on how big our attachments are. In 2006, some practitioners in our local area were illegally sentenced to 3 to 5 years and some practitioners were unlawfully sentenced to a forced labor camp or brainwashing center. A practitioner who had been unlawfully sentenced to 5 years of detention told his family on a visit, "If they sentenced me to half a year or one year of detention, it's ok. If they sentenced me to 3 or 5 years, that's definitely not acceptable." This showed that we were not clear on the Fa principles and didn't thoroughly look inside. In the prison, the practitioner was also brutally persecuted by the criminal inmates there, instigated by the police. We did not study the Fa well and did not pay attention to what Master taught us,

"Calmly reflect on the attachments you have
Remove your human thoughts
and evil will naturally die out"

Some time ago, a practitioner in our local area who cultivates himself well was unlawfully arrested by the police and sent to a detention center. The other practitioners worked together as a whole. They exposed the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and wrote follow-up articles to record the police's crimes. They wrote articles to expose the brutal persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners at the detention center. They worked together with the practitioner's family to repeatedly request the police to release the practitioner. They called the practitioner's office to clarify the truth to his colleagues and asked them to visit the police and request them to release the practitioner. They put up posters everywhere to expose the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Every day, a group of practitioners would go to the detention center to send forth righteous thoughts in close proximity. This practitioner often shouted loudly in the detention center, "Falun Dafa is good!" Within two weeks, the practitioner was released. He thanked every practitioner he saw for helping him. Other practitioners told him: "You should thank Master. Master mercifully gave you another chance. You should study the Fa well, cultivate yourself well and look inward to repay Master's benevolent salvation."
