Hundreds of Wuhan Police Arrest Five Dafa Practitioners at Midnight


(Clearwisdom.net) Around 1:00 a.m. on June 24, 2007, the Wuhan Police Department and the Xinzhou Branch of Hubei Province dispatched hundreds of policemen and arrested at least five Falun Gong practitioners.

The arrested practitioners included Zhu Youshan, from Changbu Street, Xinzhou District, Hu Luoda and Tong Chunfen from Fangyang Village, Changbu Street and the couple Zhang Shenyou and Pan Hongli. Pan Hongli has been released.

Dafa practitioner Liu Cuilian from Yangluo Street, Xinzhou District, was on the verge of death after she was violently arrested. The police saw that she was on the verge of death and left her in a hospital. In order to make up the number of arrested practitioners, they instead took away a girl with the surname of Li who was spending the night at Ms. Liu's home.

The police illegally searched many Dafa practitioners' homes. Computers, printers, MP3 players, satellite dishes, and Dafa books were taken away.
