(Clearwisdom.net) In the evening of July 20, 2007, Falun Gong
practitioners from Melbourne held a candlelight vigil at the City Plaza in
memory of those who have died as a result of the persecution, condemning the
Chinese Communist Party's brutality and calling for an end to the persecution.
Although it was raining and very cold, many citizens were drawn by the
practitioners' activities and signed their names to support the practitioners'
efforts. The candlelight vigil Signing their names to support the Falun Gong practitioners Display boards and photos clarifying the facts about the

brutality and signed her name on the petition to support the practitioners. Robert and Michael are from New South Whales. They couldn't believe that such
brutal persecution still exists in the 21st century. They encouraged
practitioners to continue their efforts against the persecution. Michael
expressed that Communism is a big mistake and should not exist. M. Lewis and K. Donnelly had never heard about the persecution before. They
said that they would pass on what they learned to their friends and families.
They said that if the whole society stands up to help, the persecution will end
soon. Mr. Smith, a spokesman for Falun Gong in Melbourne, said that ending the
eight-year long persecution is the practitioners' biggest wish, and that is the
reason they have been clarifying the truth around the world for the last eight
years.
