Practitioners Should Remember to Save the World's People Under Any Circumstances

(Clearwisdom.net) A while ago, the police in a nearby county arrested three local practitioners and sent them to a detention center. However, the guards in the detention center, who already knew the truth about Falun Dafa, refused to accept any Falun Gong practitioner. The police had to send the practitioners to the City Detention Center. At the City Detention Center, the practitioners went on a hunger strike.

As they studied the Fa and shared their thoughts, they realized that practitioners are to save the world's people, even in a detention center. The practitioners stopped their hunger strike and started to clarify the truth openly and nobly. They shouted "Falun Dafa is good" whenever they could, clarified the truth with compassion, and explained the importance of quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to every guard they came across. Everyone who heard the truth, from the guards to the director, understood. Hence, they quit the CCP and released the practitioners within a few days.

This story had a great impact on me and I further understood what Teacher said in the "Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference:"

"'Now that you've arrested me, I haven't thought at all about going back. Now that I've come here, I've come to validate the Fa.' So, the evil was scared."

I believe that when practitioners get arrested, their first thoughts should be about trying to save the officers and guards as soon as possible. Teacher said:

"When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide." ("The Master-Disciple Bond" from Hong Yin II)

The thought to save people is a righteous thought, and Teacher will help us to make use of our compassionate power. In the compassionate field, the police will become less vicious and listen to the truth, and even quit the CCP.

However, the evil elements that are used for persecution are complicated, and there are some police who are bound to to eliminated. Teacher said:

"The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston")

I realized that when practitioners do Dafa work, their every single thought should be without human notions. Human notions make righteous thoughts impure and create gaps that impede the power of righteous thoughts.
