Finland: Raising Awareness about "Global Quit the CCP Month" (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) After July 2007 was designated as Global Quit the Chinese Communist Party Month, volunteers at Finland's Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party and some Falun Gong practitioners held two activities at the beginning of the month. From July 9 to 14, under the scorching sun and in the rain, they continued to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party at the Helsinki Railway Station, which has the largest inflow of people in the city, and to support the withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliations.
"What you are doing is right! Good job!"
"I received your leaflets. What you are doing is right! Good job!" This is feedback that volunteers at the Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party and Falun Gong practitioners hear nearly every day when they distribute pamphlets about the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" and withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party and also their crime of persecuting Falun Gong.
Finnish Falun Gong practitioner Sinikka said, "There are a lot of Finnish people who signed their names. Some people only took information and left, but they usually returned to sign and express their support after they read the material."
Finnish people pay close attention to what happens in China
Ms. Chen at the Center for Quitting Chinese the Communist Party said that in the past few days a lot of people signed their names to condemn the Chinese Communist Party for persecuting Falun Gong and supported the great tide of the Chinese people quitting the Chinese Communist Party. They were neatly dressed office workers, mothers with children, old people, young people on skateboards and teenagers in groups.
Miss Wang, a volunteer, said, "A Finnish woman asked to subscribe to the Chinese version of the Epoch Times. She knelt down on the ground to copy and learn to read the Chinese words on the banners: 'The Roots of the Evil Chinese Communist Party Have Been Pulled Out', 'Gods Will Destroy the Chinese Communist Party, Withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party to Save Oneself and Support the Twenty-Three Million Brave People Who Quit the Chinese Communist Party', 'Strongly Condemn the Chinese Communist Party's Organ Harvesting from Falun Gong Practitioners and Cremating their Bodies to Destroy the Evidence'." She left after signing the petition.
A Finnish person took a lot of leaflets to distribute to her friends. One bus driver took a large amount of materials for the passengers on his bus. A Finnish gentleman took pictures of the banners with his cell phone and took a flier and a copy of the Nine Commentaries in English. A French tourist was excited to find materials about Falun Gong in French and an exercise site in his hometown.
Spreading the Nine Commentaries to help people see the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party
A westerner who took different materials in English said he went to China ten years ago. He said he did not understand why the Chinese Communist Party persecutes this peaceful Falun Gong group. Ms. Jiang, a volunteer, told him that the Nine Commentaries would help him understand it better. So he took a copy of the Nine Commentaries in English.
An old Finnish woman said she had read Mao: The Unknown Story and learned some things about the evil party. She said she felt very disturbed by the Nine Commentaries exhibition board: "The evil nature of killing of the Chinese Communist Party has never changed," which helped her see more clearly the brutality of the Chinese Communist Party.
Quitting the evil Chinese Communist Party
Ms. Jiang, a volunteer said, "With the progress of the great tide of quitting the Chinese Communist Party and the spread of the Nine Commentaries there were more Chinese people who wanted to learn about it. In the past few days, members of a Chinese tour took the initiative to ask for various kinds of material about the Nine Commentaries and quitting the Chinese Communist Party."
A Chinese person, after taking some material, took photos of the banner with his cell-phone. Three Chinese students received the materials and shared their questions with the volunteers. Two of them declared their withdrawals from the youth league on the spot; the other one said he would withdraw on his own on the Internet. One woman withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party and the Youth League upon understanding that the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident was a hoax fabricated by the Chinese Communist Party in order to defame Falun Gong.
