Atlanta, USA: Falun Gong Practitioners Enter the "Salute 2 America Parade" (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) WSB-TV, a branch of the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) in Atlanta, holds a "Salute 2 America Parade" every July 4th. About 250,000 people watch this parade in person, and 350,000 people watch it on TV every year. Falun Gong practitioners have entered this parade for several consecutive years, and are very welcomed by the spectators.

Since it is the 60th birthday of the American air force this year, the organizer invited famous pilot Charles W. Dryden as the Grand Marshal of the parade. Thousands of people watched the parade, even though it was hot.

Falun Gong practitioners formed a Waist Drum team, a Heavenly Maidens Dance team, a Tang Drum team and a flag team. Their performances were very appealing to the audience. The traditional Chinese style was very unique in the parade. Many people took photos of the practitioners and some expressed to the reporter that they welcome people from different cultures to perform in the parade.

Some spectators expressed an interest in learning the exercises and asked for the contact information for the local exercise site.
