Slovakia: Remembering Eight Years of Persecution Against Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday July 20, practitioners held an information day in Bratislava, Slovakia with the goal of informing people about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. This was the 8th anniversary of the start of the persecution in China. The practitioners set up banners and posters detailing the persecution and demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises.

"I can't believe something like this is happening today! If they want to practice, why are they restrained, each person should be able to decide it for himself," said one lady while signing the petition.

A man from a press agency took photos of the scene to accompany the Press Release issued on this important day.

Some passers-by stopped to view the chalk drawn silhouettes on the pavement, which symbolised the victims of the Chinese Communist Party. They remembered victims of the communist regime in Slovakia. One older man in a discussion with practitioner said: "I know what the communist regime did here."

About one hundred new signatures were left on the petition calling for an end to the persecution against Falun Gong in China.
