Police arrested six practitioners from Fuping County, Baoding City, on July 31, 2007. They were Ms. Yuan Guihua, Mr. Gu Qiang, Ji, Ms. Zhao Fengzhen, Mr. Zhao Zongran, and Mr. Fan Gaozong. Their computers and printers were confiscated. The total loss was at least 52,000 yuan.

Ms. Zhao Fengzhen and Ji were sent to the Baoding City Forced Labor Camp, but they were refused admission because of their poor condition. They have been released.

Practitioners Yuan Guihua, Gu Qiang, Zhao Zongran and Fan Gaozong are still being held at the city's Police Department's National Security Division. Gu Qiang is in critical condition and is being hospitalized for emergency treatment.

Practitioner Ms. Wen and her non-practitioner husband, who were arrested on July 23, 2007, are still being held at the county's detention center.

Police arrested Ms. Li Shujun from Yongqing County at 9:00 a.m. on July 30, 2007, as she was distributing truth-clarification materials in Beima Village. She is presently being held at the county's detention center. Her family has requested her release at the county's police department, but the police have ordered the family to pay 5,000 yuan. The family is not able to pay the amount, so the police claim they will sentence Ms. Li to imprisonment.

Daqing City Prison's Politics Section chief Li Weilong put practitioner Mr. Li Ronghong from Jiamusi City, who is being held at the prison's No.2 Division, into a small compartment.

Guang'an City Xiexing Court agents commenced a trial for three practitioners, including Ms. Ding Yuerong and Ms. Xiang Lin at 8:30 a.m. on August 8, 2007.

Ms. Song Wenxia from the Fengtai District, Beijing, was arrested at her workplace on July 31, 2007. She is presently being held at the district's Majiabao Police Station.

Practitioner Ms. Shi Xiuying and four others from the district were also arrested.

Personnel from the Jiaoling County Police Department's 610 Office arrested Mr. Xu Feng and Mr. Tang Chaoyu from Jiaoling County, Meizhou City, on October 25, 2006. The two practitioners have been sentenced to nine and eight and a half years in prison, respectively. They were taken to the city's No. 3 Prison on July 23, 2007.

Personnel from the Xinhong Street Police Precinct arrested 60-year-old Ms. Li Ruzhen from Chengdu City the afternoon of August 1, 2007. Police deprived her of sleep between August 1 and August 7, 2007, in an attempt to force her tell them who had made the truth-clarification materials. Police also monitor her home around the clock.

Personnel from the Baizai Township Police Station's No. 3 and 5 Divisions climbed over practitioner Mr. Jia Chunyou's yard wall and arrested him and his 70-year-old father at 12:00 a.m. on August 1, 2007. They confiscated one of Master's pictures, a tape recorder, an MP3 player, and Falun Gong lecture tapes. The older man was so frightened he was in critical condition, so he was released the next day. Mr. Jia Chunyou is presently being held at the county's detention center.

Laishui County National Security Division chief Dai Chunjie and 610 Office chief Wang Fucai headed up a group of police to break into practitioner Mr. Zhang Qingchun's home at 11:00 a.m. on July 30, 2007. They confiscated some personal belongings and took him to a detention center.

Police arrested practitioner Mr. Zhou Yucheng from Jiantou Village, Laishui County when he was on the way to visit his wife in another city. Police took him to a detention center.

Personnel from the Shijiazhuang City Women's Prison, the Baoding City 610 Office, the Laishui County Police Department's Political Security Section and 610 Office, Shiting Town Police Station political head Xu Aiqin and Shiting Town government official Zhang Aimin, Judicatory Department chief Cheng Guijie, and Beizhuang Village party secretary Zhang Hongwen harassed practitioner Ms. Zhang Fengzhi the morning of August 1, 2007.

Police recently arrested one female and two male practitioners in Changchun as they were posting truth-clarification materials on Pingquan Street. They are presently being held at the city's Weizigou Forced Labor Camp.

Police arrested the following four practitioners from the Pinggu District at 6:00 a.m. on July 28, 2007:

Mr. Wu Weidong, a doctor in the Pinggu District. Police confiscated a computer from his home and a computer and a phone from his parent's home.

The Mr. Zhou Mingchang couple. Mr. Zhou is an employee from the Beijing Jintongyuan Construction Company. His wife is a teacher. The couple has a middle-school-aged daughter.

Mr. Zhang Ping, a retired teacher.

Nanpi County Police Department's National Security Division chief Wang Yuliang in Cangzhou City took police officers and personnel from the Education Bureau to practitioner Ms. Gong Jinfeng's home and arrested her at noon on August 6, 2006. Ms. Gong was taken to the Botou Detention Center. Police confiscated a cellphone, a telephone book, and some Dafa books.

Practitioner Ms. Fu Xiuduo from the Qiaodong District in Zhangjiakou City was taken to the district's brainwashing center in June 2007. She was hung up by her handcuffs and deprived of sleep for ten days straight. She was beaten and forced to step on Master's pictures.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yuechun was arrested and put into the city's Shisanli Detention Center.

Personnel from the Beihai City 610 Office, from the city's Police Department, from the Tieshangang District Police Department, from the Nankang Frontier Police Station, and from the district's Political and Judiciary Committee arrested practitioner Ms. Huang Lanfang on June 29, 2007. Ms. Huang is a teacher from the district Nankang Middle School in Beihai City. Police ransacked her dorm room and confiscated a computer, a printer, an MP4 player, and a copy of Zhuan Falun, worth a total of 4,000 yuan. Ms. Huang was held at the detention center for 15 days and released on July 16, 2007. Later she was fired from the Nankang Middle School.

Personnel from the Beihai City 610 Office, from the Beihai City Police Department, from the Tieshangang District Political and Judiciary Committee, and from the Shitoubu Frontier Police Station broke into the home of practitioners Mr. Lin Yaoji and Ms. Chu Yanlan, his wife, on August 1, 2007. The couple's home is located at No. 18, New Shitoubu Village, Xingguang Town, the Tieshangang District, Beihai City. Police ransacked the home for two hours and confiscated a satellite receiver and a laptop computer.

The couple has been arrested several times. Ms. Chu lived in exile for two years and been held in a forced labor for three years. The couple has three school-aged children. The city's 610 Office agents recently sentenced Ms. Chu's elder brother, Mr. Chu Licai, to two years of forced labor. Ms. Chu's mother could not endure all these persecutions and passed away in October 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Huang Wenzhou, 35 years old, is from the Jinzhou District, Dalian City. Personnel from the Guangludao Police Station arrested him in 2000 for explaining the facts about Falun Gong. He was held for 40 days and then sentenced to two years of forced labor. Later on he was transferred to the Dalian City Forced Labor Camp and made to do heavy manual labor.

Following his release from the forced labor camp, Mr. Huang went to visit a practitioner in Dalian. Personnel from the city's 610 Office arrested him again and sentenced him to four years in the city's Nanguangling Prison.

Mr. Huang's four-year prison term should have expired on July 26, 2007. Personnel from the Jinzhou District Police Department and from the 610 Office did not release him. The sent him to the Luotai Resort Brainwashing Center in Fushun City.

Mr. Wang Jianyin and Ms. Sun Guilan, his wife, live on Chengnan Guandong Street in Wei County. Mr. Wang is a motorcycle-taxi driver. Personnel from the county's 610 Office pretended to be customers and followed him for several days. Then they arrested him in Chengdong Street on May 26, 2006. They later,ransacked his home.

Personnel from the 610 Office and from the police department broke into Mr. Wang's home at 10:00 p.m. on September 27, 2006. They arrested the couple again. Mr. Wang was put into the county's detention center, and his wife was put into the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center. They have been held for a year. Personnel from the county's 610 Office gave orders the local court agents, who sentenced Mr. Wang and Ms. Sun to three and two years in prison, respectively.

Mr. Cui Chunbiao, 71 years old, has been held for a month now. His family worries about his health, but police have forbidden their visits. Personnel from the Haicheng County 610 Office and from the Political Security Division issued an arrest certificate to Mr. Cui the morning of August 6, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Guiling from Chaoyang City was arrested and put into the Shuangta Police Station's Political Security Section the night of August 4, 2007. The arrest happened as she explained the facts about Falun Gong on Dongda Bridge. She is presently being held at the Shijiahetao No. 2 Detention Center in Chaoyang City.

Personnel from the Dongxing District Yangliu Town Police Department in Neijiang City, arrested practitioner Mr. Yang Zhengbi on July 27, 2007. Police told Mr. Yang's family that he would be released in 15 days. The family went to visit Mr. Yang on the tenth day, but was told that Mr. Yang had been sent into the district's Drug Rehabilitation Center for a one-year term.

Personnel from the Anguo City Police Department and from the Xifuluo Police Station arrived at Mr. Liu Zeng'an's home with four police cars and ransacked the place at 4:00 p.m. on July 20, 2007. Mr. Liu was not at home.

Ms. Yang Changzhen from the Dadukou District was arrested in the Yangjiaping Area, the Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, in early March 2007. Her whereabouts have been unknown since then.

Personnel from the Chuanyin District Henan Police Station in Jilin City sentenced Mr. Ma Chi and Ms. Ma Fang to one year of forced labor each. They were taken to the Changchun City Heizuizi Forced Labor on July 30, 2007. Ms. Ma was released because a physical exam revealed her poor health.

Eight practitioners--Mr. Chen Jingsong, Ms. Su Fang, Ms. Bao, Ms. Zhang, Ms. Song, Ms. Guo, Ms. Zhou and Ms. Deng--went to visit a practitioner in the Jinniu District at 9:00 a.m. on August 5, 2007. Personnel from the Huangtianba Police Station in the Qingyang District of Chengdu City followed them and arrested them as soon as they entered the practitioner's home. Mr. Chen defied the illegal arrest, but policemen beat him. In the end, four policemen carried Mr. Chen into a vehicle. The other seven practitioners were taken to the city's detention center. Mr. Chen's whereabouts are unknown.

Chengguan Town Police Department chief Wang Lijiang in Lingyuan City went to practitioner Mr. Liu Xiang's home in the Dongyingzi Group of Anzhangzi Village in early June 2007. They confiscated the Dafa books and truth-clarification materials of Mr. Liu's wife, Ms. Li Shuqing. Using these as evidence, they often went to Ms. Li's home to harass the family. They could not find Ms. Li, but extorted 5,000 yuan from the family.

After arresting Mr. Gao Mingxing from Anshan City, police took him and ransacked practitioner Mr. Chi Yutuo's home in Liaozhong City on August 5, 2007.

Personnel from the Zhenlai County Sifangtuozi Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Dai Shichao on June 28, 2007, for explaining the Falun Gong facts on June 29, 2007. He escaped during a transfer from the police station to a forced labor camp on July 29, 2007.
