Mr. Yuan Xijie and Ms. Wang Jiang, his wife, are from Lishu County. At around 10 p.m., April 23, 2007, while they were distributing truth-clarifying material, they were illegally arrested by policemen Liu Zhongpin and Liu Feng from Kangpin Police Station. They were detained in Lishu County jail. Later, more than 10 policemen and local 610 Office agents ransacked Mr. Yuan's home. One month later, Yuan Xijie and Wang Jiang were released.

Practitioner Ms. Li Xiaoyan was illegally arrested by police and violently beaten and threatened. To protest the persecution, Ms. Li held a hunger strike. Police force-fed her. Right now she is dying.

On the night of July 29, 2007, three practitioners, while clarifying the truth at Changdian Township, Kuandian County, were taken into custody by Jiangkou Police Station and Police Affairs Department personnel in Kuandian County. The three practitioners are being detained in Kuandian Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Guilan in Shenguosi, Anshan City, was reported to police while clarifying the truth. On July 19, 2007, she was taken into custody by Shennan Police Station officers and sent to Xiaolinzi Mental Hospital for torture.

On the night of August 1, 2007, more than 40 practitioners in Linyuan City, including Mr. Ma Yanhua, Ms. Li Jinfang, Ms. Li Yingzhi and her daughter, Ms. Ma Yanhua, Ms. Dong Yuqin, Ms. Zhang Guiju, Ms. Liu Li, and Mr. Li Zhanguang, were taken into custody in Beilu Township.

Between July and August 2007, practitioners in Qiqihar, including Mr. Wang Wenjie, Mr. Zhang Zhihuan, and Old Cui, had their homes ransacked by officers from Shuguang Police Station. Wang Wenjie and Zhang Zhihuan were arrested. They have recently been released.

On August 1, 2007, the national security team of the police department in Yi County broke into the home of a practitioner and ransacked it. Then they illegally arrested family member Mr. Zhao Baojun and detained him in Yi County Detention Center.

10. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Zhang Junan and His Wife, Cai Baoju, Taken into Custody

Practitioners Mr. Zhang Junan and Ms. Cai Baoju are from Taoxian Town, Donglin District, Shenyang City. While they were clarifying the truth outdoors on the night of June 24, they were reported and taken away to Taoxian Town Police Station. On the same night, their home was ransacked and their Dafa books confiscated.

Zhang Junan is being detained in Donglin District Jail in Shenyang City. Cai Baoju is being detained in the Women's Jail in Shengyang City.

11. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Wang Guangjian and Six Others Arrested

At 1 p.m. on July 22, 2007, practitioners from Mengyin County Mr. Wang Guangjian and Mr. Zhang Aijun were arrested by Duozhuang Town Police Station officers. They are being detained and tortured in the 610 Office of Mengyin County.

12. [Penglai, Shandong Province] Practitioners Sun Shuqing and Zou Zonghua Illegally Detained.

On July 30, 2007 Ms. Zun Shuqing and Mr. Zou Zonghua from Nanwang Township, while posting truth-clarifying material, were taken into custody by officers from the police station in Nanwang Township. They are being detained in Penglai City Jail. Police also extorted 500 yuan from each of the practitioners' families.

13. [Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province] Practitioner Qu Hongxiang Sent to Forced Labor Camp

On June 19, 2007, Ms. Qu Hongxiang from Zhaoyuan was illegally sentenced to serve a one-year term in a forced labor camp. She is being detained in the Second Forced Labor Camp in Wangchun, Zibo.

14. [Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Yuhong Is Missing

Practitioner Ms. Zhao Yuhong has been sent to a forced labor camp multiple times. Afterwards, she was detained and tortured in Linrong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan. In July 2007, her mother went to the brainwashing center to see her, but she was not there. She is now missing.

15. [Beijing] Practitioners Liu Shenghua and Zhang Lei Taken into Custody

On July 29, 2007, practitioner Mr. Liu Shenghua in the Xicheng District was arrested by the National Security Bureau in the Police Department of the Haidian District. He is being detained in Qinghe Jail. Mr. Xhang Lei from Xisanqi was arrested with him.

On July 31, 2007, Ms. Yuan Guihua, Mr. Gu Qiang, Xiao Ji, Ms. Zhao Fengzhen, Mr. Zhao Zongran, and Mr. Fan Gaozong from Fuping County in the Baoding area were arrested. Their homes were ransacked, and they are currently being detained at the county detention center.

On March 12, 2007, police from Shangcai County and Dian Township and 610 Office personnel from the county, city, and province went to Mr. Zhang Lizhu's home and arrested him. He is currently being detained and tortured at the detention center in Shangcai County.

On the morning of August 1, 2007, police arrested Chen Shang and his wife in Shalizhai Town. Their whereabouts are unknown.

In March 2007, Feng Zhentang and Wang Hongxing were arrested for holding an experience sharing conference. They have been detained at the municipal Procuratorate. On August 3, the court held an illegal trial.

In the morning on August 1, 2007, police from Pangkou Township police station arrested Mr. Yan Shunqi, from Pangkou Township, Gaoyang County, Baoding City. He was at home at the time, and his home was ransacked.

In mid July, 2007, two practitioners from Baoji, Fengxiang County, were reported to the authorities and arrested for distributing truth clarification material in the Baoji Xishan area. As a result, about ten practitioners from Fengxiang County were illegally arrested, and their homes were also ransacked.

On August 1, police from Shuangnan police station arrested Er Jie, Wang Zong, Xiao Fu. Later, they ransacked Er Jie's home and arrested four children. The four children have been released and taken home by relatives.

On the morning of July 22, 2007, Mr. Zhang Hua, Ms. Ding Hongmei, and Ms. Fu Rufen from Tongnan County, Chongqing City, were arrested while clarifying the truth in Xiaodu Town, Tongnan County. On July 28, 2007, Ms. Ding Hongmei was sentenced to seven years.

Around July 10, 2007, police from Changsa County Police Station arrested Mr. Yin Fuliang, who had become homeless to avoid persecution, from Hunan Province, for clarifying the truth in Changsa County. He is currently being illegally detained at the detention center in Changsa County.

Mr. Lin Shoujing, from Yilong County, is nearly 70 years old. Around mid-March 2007, the police from the county protective unit arrested him and ransacked his home. After one month of detention, he was bailed out and is now waiting for a trial. Currently, the Procuratorate has submitted his case to the county court, and he is faced with an illegal sentence.

Ms. Deng Xiaolan, 49, is a practitioner from the Nan'an District, Chongqing City. She was arrested by the police from Longxi Town police station on the afternoon of June 21, 2007. That same evening, she was taken sent to the detention center in Yiwuanshui in the Yubei District. Previously she was in the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp for two years.

On the evening of August 1, 2007, police arrested Ms. Zhong Fangqiong, Mr. Liu Jia, and Ms. Li Niang. They are all from Chengdu City.

Mr. Zhang Chengyao is a practitioner from the Xinzhou District. He was transferred to Wuchang Brainwashing Center, which was established by the Superintendent Office of the Ministry of Public Security. Currently, there are about 400 practitioners being brainwashed in that facility.

On the morning of July 31, 2007, the housing committee of Feiexi, Sanyuanli Street, Guangzhou City, deceitfully asked Ms. Wang Rong to show up at the office of the housing committee. They then took her to Chatou Brainwashing Center to be persecuted.
