Strike to Resist the Persecution, Her Life in Danger Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Congmei of the Xindu District, Chengdu City was
persecuted in a brainwashing center and later imprisoned in the Xindu District
Detention Center. She was forcibly taken away on April 4, 2007 by policemen from
the Xindu District Public Security Bureau and the Sanhe Police Station. For over
two months, Ms. Yang's family and relatives went to the detention center and
local police station many times to request a visit. They were always refused.
After understanding the severity of her plight, Ms. Yang's husband quit his job
in another province and came back home. He was then also forcibly taken away by
policeman from Jiuchi Town, Pengzhou City. Yang Congmei is now on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and her
life is in danger. Recently, she was brought to the fourth floor of the
Hospitalization Division, Xindu District People's Hospital, and is being

Hunger Strike for Many Days in a Brainwashing Center Ms. Hua Fengxiang, Ms. Wei Tianchen, and Ms. Lu Shufen, are Dafa

Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. They began a hunger strike at noon on June
25, to protest their illegal detention. At this time, the situation

by Wang Xiaofeng, the head of Yuhua Road Police Station, and another policeman,
because of attending a public court session for Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Bo.
On June 23, the Yuhua Road Community Office sent Ms. Hua to the Hebei Provincial
Educational Center of Law (a brainwashing center), where she has been imprisoned

Chengfeng District, Daqing City was reported when she was making
truth-clarifying materials. She was sent to the Third Detention
Center of Daqing City at about 5:00 p.m. that day by the Donghu Public Security

Being Illegally Searched and His Property Confiscated Beihai City Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Guangfu's home was illegally searched
and his property was confiscated in a raid that lasted from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m. on June 23. The police, in plainclothes, did not present any documentation.
They also ransacked Mr. Xu's workplace. They opened the door themselves and
walked in. The antithetical couplet (a traditional form of poetry) on the front
door of Xu Guangfu's house was also torn off. The police stole items worth

Guanglan, over fifty years old, in Shangnian Village, Beixiaoying Town, Shunyi
District, Beijing City were forcibly taken away from home by police. 8. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Dafa practitioner Chen Shuxun Illegally
Arrested and Sent to Forced Labor Camp On the morning of May 22, 2007, when Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Shuxun of
Dalijiazhuang, Jinggou Town, Gaomi City was looking after her grandson, police
officers Wang Yueyu and Liu Shijiang from the Jinggou Town Police Station and an
officer from Gaomi City came to her home. They brutally forced her into a police
vehicle and illegally ransacked her house. Chen Shuxun was imprisoned in the
Gaomi City Detention Center for one month. After the term was up, the police
still did not release her. It is said that Chen Shuxun was illegally sentenced

Forcibly Taken Away At 9:00 p.m. on June 30, 2007, with batons in their hands, a dozen policemen
and four armed policemen illegally rushed into Ms. Zhao Baoli's workplace and
forcibly took her away. They then went to Zhao Baoli's home and illegally
confiscated many items, including a computer, a printer and Dafa books. At 2:00
a.m., they went to Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Ying's home and forcibly took her
away. It is known that several other Dafa practitioners were also forcibly taken
away on that night. 10. [Pingdu, Shandong Province] More Information on the Arrest of Dafa
Practitioner Wang Xiguo At 9:00 a.m. on June 14, lead by Wang Enjiao, the head of the Chinese
Communist Party at Dawangjia Village, Dianzi Town, about thirty people from the
Dianzi Town Police Station, City Cable TV Station, and Pingdu 610 Office arrived
in a line of eight or nine cars. They first went to Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang
Bingshan's home and confiscated a computer, a printer, a VCD player, two
satellite dishes, Dafa books, and power tools. They then went to Mr. Wang
Mingliang's home and confiscated a satellite dish, a bag of Dafa books, a cell
phone, an mp3 player, a recorder, a small TV, carpenter's tools, an electric
screw driver, and other items. Later, they went to Mr. Wang Xiguo's home and
confiscated 4 satellite dishes, a VCD player, three copies of Zhuan
Falun, two copies of the publication, Disintegrate Party Culture,
and two cassette tapes. After being ruthlessly whipped by policemen with leather
belts, Wang Xiguo was forcibly taken to the Pingdu Public Security Bureau
Detention Center. On June 28, police drove to Wang Xiguo's home intending to harass his wife.
Seeing that nobody was at home, the police went to the primary school in their
village and harassed his thirteen-year-old son. After Wang Xiguo was forcibly
taken to the Pingdu Detention Center, the Pingdu Public Security Bureau extorted
from his family five thousand yuan, which was later reclaimed by his family. On
July 1, Mr. Wang's wife went to the Pingdu Public Security Bureau to see him.
She was then told that Wang Xiguo was facing one-and-a-half years in a forced
labor camp. 11. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Dafa Practitioner Peng Xiaolan
Illegally Imprisoned in Nanchang City Women's Forced Labor Camp Dafa practitioner Ms. Peng Xiaolan from Nanchang City was illegally sentenced
to two years in a forced labor camp by police from the National Security Group
of Nanchang City, Qingshanhu Public Security Bureau. She is now imprisoned in

His Elderly Mother Is also Detained Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yang Chuanjun in Dalian City was illegally

After that, his mother was also arrested and is now imprisoned in the Qianshan
Road Detention Center of the Dalian City Drug Prohibition Detachment. Mr. Yang's
parent are in their seventies. His child is attending junior high school and is

imprisoned in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian. 13. [Suning County, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioners Harassed On June 5, 2007, Li Zhizong from the Suning County Chengguan Police Station
went to Dafa practitioners' workplaces to harass them and force them to sign
their names, give their fingerprints, etc. That same day, two policemen from the
Liangcun Countryside Police Station went to two Dafa practitioners' homes in
Baisi Village, Liangcui Countryside to harass them. A banner reading
"Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" hanging in a Dafa practitioner's
home was torn down, tape cassettes of Master Li's lectures and pictures were
stolen, and they forced the practitioners to sign statements, give their
fingerprints and have their pictures taken. Over the past several days,
incidents of harassing Dafa practitioners in their homes have been constantly

Sent to Forced Labor Camp for One and a Half Years After being forcibly taken away on May 29, 2007, Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang
Yajun of Changchun City has now been illegally sent to a forced labor camp
because of she continues to steadfastly practice Falun Gong. She is now
imprisoned in the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp for a term of
one-and-a-half years. 15. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Huang Suxin Illegally
Sent to Forced Labor Camp While distributing truth-clarifying materials in Qingzhuangwu Village on the
night of April 10, 2007, married couple and Dafa practitioners Mr. Huang Suxin
and Ms. Guo Liqun from Fengrun District, Tangshan City, were reported to the
Yangguanlin Town Police Station by Huang Jianjun, the head of Qingzhuangwu
Village Joint Defense Group. The Yangguanlin Town Police Station interrogated
them with torture that night, illegally searched their house and confiscated
their property at 10:00 p.m. The police confiscated Dafa books and Master Li's
pictures. On the afternoon of April 11, police from Yangguanlin Town Police
Station sent Guo Liqun and Huang Suxin to the Fengrun County Detention Center
and had them illegally imprisoned there. The guards instigated criminals to beat
Guo Liqun many times. At 12:30 a.m. on May 12, the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp called Huang Suxin's
family and asked them to bring clothes to the forced labor camp for Mr. Huang on
May 14. The family did not know that Huang Suxin had been sent to a labor camp
until then. On May 15, Yangguanlin Town Police Officers showed the verdict book
to Mr. Huang's family, who only then found out that Huang Suxing had been

Dongfanghong Forestry Bureau handcuffed her and tortured her. 17. [Liaoning Province] Dalian City Zhongshan Court Planning to Illegally Try
Dafa Practitioner Zhang Chengjun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Chengjun of the Shahekou District, Dalian City
was forcibly taken away by police at the door of her house last September. The
police tried to send her to Yaojia Detention Center, but it did not accept her
because she did not pass the physical examination. A few days ago, police found
Zhang Chengjun again, made so-called "notes," and notified her to go
to Dalian City Zhongshan Court for a trial at 9:10 a.m. on July 3, 2007. 18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Zhang Guirong and Other Practitioners
Illegally Imprisoned at the Jinnan Road Detention Center Dafa practitioners Ms. Yang Chuanjun and Ms. Zhang Yaru from Dalian City were
forcibly taken away on June 19. Ms. Zhang Guirong, Yang Chuanjun's mother, was
also illegally detained and taken to Jinnan Road Detention Center in Dalian City
and persecuted there. Only Yang Chuanjun's baby son and her elderly father were
left at home. 19. [Beijing City] Beijing Railway Public Security Bureau Harasses Many
Practitioners who are in Contact with Detained Dafa Practitioner Zheng Xianying 20. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Many Practitioners Forcibly Taken Away On the night of June 28, 2007, communist party leaders in Suining City
mobilized the City National Security Group, the Public Security Bureau and the
Joint Defense Group to arrest Falun Gong practitioners, search their homes and
confiscate their property. Practitioners who were forcibly taken away are Ms.
Deng Hui, Ms. Deng Qiugui, Ms. Zhang Xiurong, Ms. Su Derong, Mr. Liao Banggui,
Ms. Zhang Chengzhen, Ms. Xiao Zujun, Ms. Qi Xiulan, Ms. Fang Zhengxiu, Ms. Liu
Chunfeng, Ms. Han, and two others whose names are not known. 21. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ma Lifang Forcibly
Taken Away On the night of June 28, police from Liantang District, Shenzhen City
launched a joint action to arrest Dafa practitioners. It is known that Ms. Ma
Lifang was arrested. Her house was searched and property confiscated. Ma Lifang
is now illegally imprisoned in Caopu Detention Center. 22. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Yu Jiandong Forcibly Taken Away On June 18, when Mr. Yu Jiandong, about fifty years old, from Zhong Village,
Jinling Town, Zhaoyuan City, was working at the Daotou Judiciary Department,
police from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office came in three police vehicles, rushed
into his workplace and forcibly took him away. They then went to his home to
search and confiscate his property. It is unknown where Yan Jiandong is now
illegally imprisoned. 23. [Dingxi City, Gansu Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Maolin Forcibly
Taken Away On June 30, 2007, Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Maolin from Dingxi City was
forcibly taken away by police from the Anding District Political Security
Section. The police actually broke into his house, as there wasn't anybody home.
They stole his computer, printer, and other items. Currently, Wang Maolin's
sixty-something-year-old mother is left alone at home and her life is very

Taken Away At 4:00 a.m. on July 2, in the area of Xinyi Street, Taiping District, Dafa
practitioner Ms. Liu Yang was forcibly taken away by Wang Wei, a police officer
from the Xinyi Street Police Station. Liu Yang is currently detained in the

Taken Away About 10:00 a.m. on June 14, 2006, police officers, including Liang Wanzhu
from the Minkang Road Police Station in Nanguan District, Changchun City,
forcibly dragged Dafa practitioner Liu Xiaoman to the ground level of a high
rise building and forced him into a police vehicle. Later, the National Security
Squadron of the Nanguan District Public Security Bureau illegally searched Liu
Xiaoman's home and confiscated property, including Master Li's articles, copies
of the "Minghui Weekly," Dafa practitioners' poems that

Taken Away Handan City Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xianlan, forty-nine years old, is an
employee of Handan City Fourth Factory. She lives in the residential area of the
No. 3 Railway Bureau in Fuxing District. She was forcibly taken away by police
from Shengliqiao Police Station on June 28. Her home was also searched and her
personal property confiscated. Ms. Li's current whereabouts are unknown. 27. [Pingjiang Couty, Hunan Province] Many Dafa Practitioners Illegally
Imprisoned and Persecuted On June 29, 2007, Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Daowen of Wukou Town, Pingjiang
County was forcibly and brutally taken away to a detention center by police from
the Pingjiang County National Security Group. When his family went to the 610
Office and the National Security Bureau to ask for his release on June 30, his
sister Yang Huangmei was illegally detained for fifteen days. It was recently disclosed that at least ten Dafa practitioners were forcibly
taken away by the Pingjiang County National Security Group in the past twenty
days. Currently, they are all illegally imprisoned in a detention center and
being persecuted. Many Dafa practitioners' homes were searched and their
property confiscated, and they were forced to leave their homes. 28. [Chongqing City] Dafa Practitioner Deng Xiaolan Forcibly Taken Away At about 4:00 p.m. on June 21, 2007, in the area of Longjing Garden
Subdistrict, Jiangbei District, Dafa practitioner Ms. Deng Xiaolan of the Nanan
District, Chongqing City, forty-nine years old, was forcibly taken away by
police from Longxi Town Police Station, Jiangbei District. She was sent to
Yiwanshui Detention Center in the Yubei District that same night and imprisoned
there. 29. [Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioners Illegally Imprisoned in the
Fifth Ward of Daqing Hongweixing Jail Went On Hunger Strike Before June 26 to
Protest the Persecution 30. [Hubei Province] Information about the Persecution of Dafa Practitioners
in Shayang Fanjiatai Jail On July 1, Shayang Fanjiatai Jail revoked Dafa practitioner Mr. Shi Lei's
right to have visitors because he refused to have his head shaved, to wear a
prison uniform and to wear an I.D. card around his neck. Several Dafa
practitioners who are persistent in their cultivation have been locked in their

Persecution in a Forced Labor Camp Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Lihua of Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, about
thirty years old and graduated from a junior college, made her living by working
for a private corporation in Shanghai. On February 8, 2007, she was illegally
arrested in Shangha by police from Yancheng City with the charge of visiting the
Internet. She was later persecuted in a hotel in the Developing District of
Yancheng City. A group of police officers, lead by Xu Zhiliang, the head of the
610 Office in that area, beat and tortured Ms. Liu to extort a confession. Other
people in the hotel could hear her cries of pain. Unsuccessful in extorting a
confession through torture, they transferred Ms. Liu to the Yancheng City
Detention Center on February 13, where she has been persecuted up to now. During that time, the 610 Office of the Yancheng City suburb prosecuted Liu
Lihua with a trumped-up charge in the Yancheng Court on March 15. The
prosecution was turned down by the court after a few days, with the reason of
insufficient evidence. Currently, Shao Yimin and Xu Zhiliang, the head and the
deputy head of the 610 Office, still refuse to release Ms. Liu and are planning

City was forcibly taken away by police from the Dongerying Countryside Police
Station. 33. [Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Dai Shichao Forcibly Taken Away At noon on June 29, 2007, police lead by Zhang Xiaofeng of the Jilin Province
Jail Management Bureau of Zhenlai, forcibly took away Dafa practitioner Mr. Dai
Shichao, over sixty years old, who was at a shoe repair booth. They forcibly
took Dai Shichao to his home and illegally searched his home. Currently, Mr. Dai
is illegally imprisoned in the Second Jail of the Jilin Province Jail Management

in Taoyuan County Zhou Guicheng and Zheng Yunqing, the heads of the Taoyuan County 610 Office,
and Wen Chengguang and Hu Guanghua, the heads of the National Security Group of
Taoyuan County, continued to persecute Dafa practitioners before "July
First." On May 17, 2007, they went to Ms. Gao Guizhi's home and threatened her. They
searched her home and illegally confiscated her property. On May 21, 2007, a dozen police driving three police vehicles rushed into
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhuang Aiying's home on Maocao Street in Jumin Village.
They tried to forcibly take her to a brainwashing center in Changde City, but
were resisted by Zhang Aiying's righteous thoughts and did not succeed. After
that, they again went to Ms. Zhang's brother's home and harassed them. On June 8, 2007, the police used deception at the Taoyuan County Bureau for
Corporations in Villages and Towns and rushed into Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen

in Sankeshu when she was making truth-clarification materials in Sankeshu around
4:00 a.m. on July 2. 36. [Rizhao, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioners Including Zhang Ping
Forcibly Taken Away in Secret Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Miao Weicai, about thirty years old, has been
missing for several months. She has not been heard of so far. Ms. Zhang Ping,
seventy-five years old, disappeared on June 2. Later it was learned that she was
imprisoned in the Rizhao City Detention Center. 37. [Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Yu Fengzhu Forcibly Taken Away by
Jilin City Public Security Bureau, Her Whereabouts Unknown At about 3:00 p.m. on June 29, 2007, over twenty people from the City Public
Security Bureau, the Changyi Public Security Bureau and the Community Office
went to Dafa practitioner Ms. Yu Fengzhu's home in the Tianjiang Subdistrict on
Jiangwan Road. They broke the door and forcibly took Yu Fengzhu to the Jilin
City Public Security Bureau. Now, her whereabouts are unknown. 38. [Quzhou County, Hebei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Yang Shufen
Forcibly Taken Away At about 11:00 p.m. on June 27, 2007, the police, including Liu Wangbin, from
the Quzhou County Henantan Police Station went to Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang
Shuli's home in Shizhuang Village, Henantan Town (Yang Shuli had already been
forcibly taken away). They took away Yang Shuli's wife, Dafa practitioner Ms.
Yang Shufen. Just after the police vehicle left the village, police officers Liu
Wangbin and Shao Xianlei started to beat and kick Yang Shufen in the vehicle. At
the police station, police officer Liu Zhicun used a sofa cushion to violently
hit Yang Shufen's head, and poured cold water over her head. At noon on June 28, police officers tried to send Ms. Yang to a detention
center, but the detention center refused to accept her because of her blood
pressure which was as high as 200. With no choice, the police had to send Yang
