Let's Continue To Do Well The Three Things We Should Do as Falun Dafa Disciples

Over the past eight years, I have been continuing with practicing Falun Dafa exercises, studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts, clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. My physical as well as mental health condition has improved a lot. I'm very energetic. People say I look like one in my fifties, yet I'm well over sixty. Because of these changes, my friends all recognize that Falun Dafa is good and magnificent. I will continue to do well with the three things that we as Falun Dafa disciples should do. Teacher has been benevolently bearing hardships in order to save us. I will not let Teacher down.

In 1999 when I had barely learned how to do the five sets of exercises, the evil started the inhumane persecution. I couldn't understand why the persecution happened. I said to others, "The evil head Jiang doesn't have any ability to deal with bad people, yet he turned against us good people who follow Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." Someone reported me to a police station and my son's employer. When they came to talk to me, I told them how wonderful Falun Dafa is and about how Falun Dafa teaches people to be good. I asked them why the persecution started. I broke into tears when I talked to them. Those who came were my friends, so they only asked me to stop practicing Falun Gong. They said they had instructions from their bosses and they wouldn't be able to protect me if I didn't listen to them. I told them immediately that I would never give up my belief in Truth, Compassion, Tolerance.

I continued to practice Falun Gong at home. However, my husband was afraid. He didn't allow me to study the Fa. He tried to take my books and turn them in. I stopped him and said it would be the same as killing me if he took away my books. He gave up, but he fought with me every day, and he didn't give me money any more, though I don't have any of my own income. He even drove me out of our home once and I had to live on the street for a while. Despite the huge difficulties, I still firmly believe in the Fa and I did not give up practicing Falun Dafa.

Through those hard days, I longed for Teacher's new articles and to meet with fellow practitioners. In the spring of 2000, I received one of Teacher's poems. I quickly memorized the poem and it strengthened my decision that I would closely follow Teacher and keep practicing Dafa. Then I received Teacher's new articles, "Towards Consummation" and "Rationality." I read them repeatedly. Teacher said in "Rationality," "Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy." I suddenly came to realize that Teacher was asking us to step out to clarify the truth, validate the Fa, and save sentient beings. Jiang (former Communist party dictator)'s gang and the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had fabricated so many lies about Teacher and the Fa and deceived so many sentient beings. Many people held strong hatred against Teacher and Falun Dafa, bringing harm to themselves and their futures in a universe created by the Fa.

I do whatever Teacher asks us to do, thus I started my journey of clarifying the truth, validating the Fa, and saving sentient beings. During the day, I would walk around and talk to anybody I could. I also visited my relatives and friends to help them learn the truth. At night, I would study the Fa and practice Dafa exercises at home. At that time, my xinxing level improved very quickly and I became more and more clear on the Fa principles. Specifically, I think I did very well with tolerance. When people refused to accept the truth about Falun Dafa, I didn't lose my temper. I was able to calmly tell them that I didn't want anything except to help them. Eventually, some of them sincerely embraced the truth. I was also able to stay tolerant at home which greatly improved the environment there.

I repeatedly studied Teacher's newly published articles, including "Dafa is Indestructible," "Guiding the Voyage," and "Touring North America to Teach the Fa." I also shared understandings with fellow practitioners. I came to understand that it is our historic mission as Falun Dafa disciples. Master taught:

"Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination, because you are a part of Dafa, indestructible; rectify all that is not righteous." ("Dafa is Indestructible" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

Every day, I finish the household chores as soon as possible and then I walk to suburban areas. I have talked to farmers and explained the truth about Falun Gong and distributed truth-clarification materials to them. I have also gone into the fields and sometimes helped farmers with their work while talking to them. They are moved by my purity and kindness. I remember one woman said, "I've never met anyone that is as kind as you are." I told them that I practice Falun Gong and our Teacher asked us to follow Truth, Compassion, Tolerance to be good people. I pointed out to them that the media is filled with lies fabricated by the Jiang gang. I asked them to never believe those lies; otherwise, they would suffer.

Since 2000, I always clarify the truth to people face to face. Then I follow up by bringing them truth-clarification materials. I ask them to pass on the materials to their relatives and friends. Some of them have asked for several copies for their friends. Some of them have started to practice Falun Dafa.

In the spring of 2005, we received Teacher's articles, "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World" and "We Are Not "Getting Political." I read the articles myself and together with fellow practitioners. We came to realize that it's also saving sentient beings when we help people quit the evil Chinese Communist Party and its affiliates while we explain the truth about Falun Gong. Following Teacher's requirements, I first clarify the truth to people. Then, if those people have joined the evil Party and its affiliates, I continue by asking them to quit the Party. However, at first, not many people that I talked to quit the Party and its affiliates. I reflected on how I talked to people and tried to improve as I continued to talk to people and ask them to quit the Party.

My sincerity was "rewarded." In the early spring of 2006, I went to visit the Secretary of the Party of a village. I had already clarified the truth to him and he accepted it. However, he refused to quit the Party at first. I gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He read it. Then he quit the Party. He even talked to all the Party members that reported to him and helped them quit the Party. I was very glad. Just like Teacher said in his poem "For the Good of the World:"

"Make clear the truth,
and drive off foul spirits.
Spread widely the Nine Commentaries,
and the wicked Party shall fade.
With righteous thoughts,
save the world's people.
I just don't believe their consciences
are irretrievably lost."
