My Understanding of Immediately Ending the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) With the continuous process of the Fa-rectification, the changes have become huge. There are more and more people from the international society, whether they are from a government, social group, organization, or individuals, who understand the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. They also support Falun Gong and help to stop the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) violations of human rights. The CCP's lies and persecution covers the sky, but Falun Gong practitioners' persistent explaining of the facts to human beings, using peaceful and rational ways, as well as mercy and benevolence, have awakened people's conscience and kind nature.

Although the situation has changed greatly, we can't be affected by any external changes. We cannot be attached to circumstances and cannot rely on everyday people. We should know better because we have had too many lessons on this. For instance, we were attached to depending on the Chinese Premier, the CCP's 16^th Congressional meeting, the United Nation's Human Rights Commission, the US government upholding justice, the improvement of the current CCP leader, the Human Rights Torch Relay and the CIPFG to end this persecution, and so on. All of these attachments have brought us very big losses and prevented us from immediately ending the persecution and saving sentient beings.

We Dafa practitioners should be the ones who are capable of disintegrating this persecution. Especially Dafa practitioners in China who have even bigger responsibilities should take more initiative. No matter what happens, practitioners in China must cooperate with each other when clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings. There are many fellow practitioners' sharing articles about this subject that we "must end the persecution now!" However, we can not only have a superficial understanding of this.

Then how do we immediately stop the persecution? After reading sharing articles on this aspect, I noticed a common ground deep within our hearts, that we must immediately stop this persecution. However, because I did not study the Fa well and my understanding of the Fa principles was not clear, I thought that we should ask everyday people to stop the persecution, ask the CCP leader to stop the persecution. But this does not seem right and is not in accordance with the Fa. However, I did not have a clear understanding of how we can end this persecution now, and I did not have a clear mind.

At that time, I did not pay attention or consider my thoughts; frankly this was the manifestation of not being diligent. Several days ago, I studied "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Midwest-U.S. Fa Conference." Teacher's lecture helped me to understand "immediately end the persecution" and it became much clearer to me. I think, in order to "immediately end the persecution," we must increase the strength of clarifying the facts to the Chinese people, awaken the Chinese people's conscience and kind thoughts, and help them understand the truth. If Chinese people awaken and people's hearts are righteous, then all the people will stand up and oppose the persecution. Then can this persecution still be carried on and still exist? Isn't it finished then?
