The persecution cases in this report involve 21 cities and counties in nine provinces, including the torture cases of eight practitioners during their detention and the arrest of 30 practitioners.
1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Shoujun Sentenced to Four Years Imprisonment
On the morning of March 23, 2007, policemen illegally arrested Mr. Wang Shoujun from Harbin City and ransacked his home. They confiscated a large amount of Falun Gong materials, computers, and printers as well as more than 10,000 yuan. Mr. Wang was then escorted to Nangang Detention Center in Harbin City.
In August 2007, Nangang District Court held a closed door trial and sentenced Mr. Wang to four years imprisonment. Mr. Wang Shoujun is being held at Daqing Prison.
2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Jiang Zonglin Taken into Custody
Practitioner Mr. Jiang Zonglin from Chengdu was taken into custody by policemen from the Fuqin Police Station in Chengdu City on August 2, 2007. His whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Seven Practitioners Including Mr. Gao Zhuo and Mr. Cui Dejun Sentenced to Forced Labor
In the latter half of August, police took practitioners Mr. Gao Zhuo, Ms. Dong Shengna, Ms. Song Changmei and several others to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province. Mr. Gao Zhuo and Mr. Cui Dejun were sentenced to two years of forced labor while Ms. Dong Shengna, Ms. Song Changmei, Ms. Xiao Zhao, Ms. Xiao Liu, and Ms. Xiao Wang were given one and a half years.
4. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Bao Yonghua Taken to a Detention Center
In late August 2007, Ms. Bao Yonghua from Donggang City, Liaoning Province, was arrested by policemen from Yangshi Township Police Station after it was reported that she practices Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked and she is now held in Donggang Detention Center.
5. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Xingdi Taken into Custody
On August 14, 2007, Mr. Liu Xingdi from Huangtukan Township, Donggang City, was taken into custody after being reported for clarifying the facts about Falun Gong at a local market. He is being held at Donggang City Detention Center.
6. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Xiaofang Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiaofang from Jiangdian Township, Tonghua County, was taken into custody by officials from the County Political and Judicial Commission on August 31, 2007 while she was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. Currently, she is in the Tonghua Detention Center where she has been tortured.

7. [Suiling County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Ning Xiaomei Arrested
Ms. Ning Xiaomei from Suiling County was arrested by policemen from Hainan Police Station while she was handing out truth-clarification material at Hainan Township, Hailun City. She is held at Hailun City Detention Center.
8. [Songyuan City, Jiling Province] Practitioner Huang Jinrong Arrested
On the morning of September 6, 2007, policemen from Minzhu Street Police Station, Songyuan City, forced their way into practitioner Huang Jinrong's home and arrested the practitioner. The officers also ransacked the house.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Jiang Zhengfang and Ms. Zhang Xiuying Arrested
On the morning of June 19, 2007, practitioners Ms. Jiang Zhengfang and Ms. Zhang Xiuying were arrested by policemen from the Lingshan Township 610 Office. Ms. Jiang Zhengfang was taken directly to a forced labor camp.
10. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Jingfen Arrested
Policemen from Xinji City arrested local practitioner Ms. Wang Jingfen. She is being held at the Xinji City Detention Center.
11. [Shanhaiguan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Fu Shufang and Others Sent to Forced Labor Camp and Detention Center and Tortured
Ms. Fu Shufang was sent to Tangshan Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Chen Qijiang and Ms. Wang Yongping were sent to Qinghuangdao No. 1 Detention Center. Mr. Zuo Hongtao is in critical condition and is now receiving medical treatment at Shanhaiguang District People's Hospital.
12. [Shunping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Shi Hongru and Ms. Shi Junyan Sentenced to Forced Labor
On the evening of August 18, 2007, practitioner Ms. Shi Hongru from Shimen Village, Shunping County was reported by Ji Xinping, Head of the Zhaipozhuang Women's Association, while she handing out truth-clarification materials. She was arrested by Baiyun Township Police Station officers and sent to Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp.
At about 8 a.m. on August 23, practitioner Ms. Shi Junyan, who had been arrested by officers from the Hekou Township Police Station, was sent to Malizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City.
13. [Fuping County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhuang Dazhen Suffers Inhuman Torture
On August 27, 2007, Ms. Zhuang Dazhen from Chengnan, Fuping County was arrested. She had been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was force- fed. She was then sent back to Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. She was released on September 3 after she lost consciousness as a result of torture.
14. [Laiyuan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Yue Quanhai and Several Other Practitioners Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Yue Quanhai from Beishangtun Village was arrested by agents of the local National Police Division at about 10 p.m. on September 4. On the following day, when Mr. Yue's wife went to the police department to request his release, she was detained as well.
At around 9 p.m. on September 5, practitioners Ms. Xun Yumei, Ms. Han Yumei, Ms. Hou Aiying, and Ms. Li Xinping were arrested by the National Security Police when studying Falun Dafa literature at home. Their whereabouts are still unknown.
15. [Qing County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Guo Zhiwei Arrested
On the afternoon of September 6, Mr. Guo Zhiwei from Qing County was arrested by police officers from the Qing County Police Department when he was on his way home after work. His whereabouts are unknown.
16. [Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Lin Yihua and Three Other Practitioners Tried and Sentenced
It was decided that at 3 p.m. on September 10, 2007, Jiaojiang District Court of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, would reexamine the sentences handed down to practitioners Mr. Lin Yihua, Mr. Han Ping, and Mr. Guo Xiaobo.
On July 16, 2007, Wenling City People's Court in Zhejiang Province sentenced Mr. Lin Yihua to eight years in prison, Han Ping to five years, Guo Xiaobo to four years, and Zhao Linbing to three years (with four years probation).
17. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Chunbao Tortured at Deyang Prison
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Chunbao from Mianyang City was taken to Deyang Prison in 2006. She was placed in confinement twice during her detention and was not allowed to see her family members. As a result of being tortured, her hands and legs were swollen beyond recognition due to edema. She also felt extremely weak; however, she was still forced to work in the garment workshop of the No. 1 Ward.
18. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Han Xingmei Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
Officers from Zhengzhou Police Department arrested Ms. Han Xingmei from Henan Province at 10 a.m. on August 16, 2007. She was sentenced to forced labor and sent to Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp on August 30.
19. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioners Mr. Xie Wutang and Ms. Tan Xiangyu Arrested and Their Home Ransacked
In the early-morning hours of August 14, 2007, policemen broke into Mr. Xiewutang's house and arrested him and his wife, Ms. Tan Xiangyu. The officers also took from the old couple's home a computer, a printer, a satellite TV receiver, and Falun Dafa books. Mr. Xie is being held at Changsha City Detention Center and Ms. Tan at the Provincial Women's Prison.

20. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Song Xiuqing Arrested at Her Home on September 1
21. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Practitioners Ms. Ying Guofang, Ms. Qin Lianyu, and Ms. Dai Caiying Arrested
On September 5, 2007, policemen from Haishu Police Sub-department of the Jiangbei District, Ningbo City, arrested practitioners Ms. Ying Guofang, Ms. Qin Lianyu, and Ms. Dai Caiying. They are being held in Ningbo City Detention Center.
22. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wu Jingai Arrested
On the morning of September 6, practitioner Ms. Wu Jingai from Yangjiang City was arrested by police while clarifying the facts. Police then ransacked her house. She is now in Baisha Detention Center.
