Australia: Falun Gong Practitioners Take Part in the Toowoomba Flower Festival (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 22, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Queensland, Australia, were invited to the annual Flower Festival Parade in Toowoomba for the ninth time.

The Flower Festival is held every spring. This year,the Falun Gong group was introduced by a big banner, which read, "Falun Dafa is good." The Divine Land Marching Band, the waist drum team and the celestial maiden dancing team performed in the parade.

More than ten thousand people watched the parade. When the practitioners passed by the stage, the organizer of the parade introduced Falun Gong and the contact information to the public.

Many spectators, including Chinese people, said that they liked the practitioners' performance. Some of them asked to take photos with practitioners after the parade. A local Italian teacher learned the facts of the persecution. She asked for more truth-clarifying materials and expressed that she would pass them on to her family and friends.

One practitioner said that she was happy to participate in the parade. She hoped that everyone would enjoy the beauty of Falun Dafa. She said that if everyone followed the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," then the world would be a wonderful place.

After the parade, the organizers expressed their appreciation to practitioners and praised their excellent performance.
