Practice of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" Effectively Harmonizes a Former Conflict

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa's light of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" guides each practitioner's path. It has illuminated Xiaoyu's home. A person cultivating in "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" can harmoniously rectify any former conflict, as the benevolent grace streaming from the practitioner can truly save those that are lost and have forgotten their way back home. By truly believing in Dafa, Xiaoyu's husband's life was saved and he turned over a new leaf.

Obtaining the Fa

In Longmatan Area there is a family: the husband is a driver, the wife a hairdresser. They have an energetic and lovable ten-year-old daughter. Yet living in the current degenerated social environment, the husband picked up many of the vices of lavish eating and drinking, gambling and womanizing. In 1998, the husband openly and flagrantly started a relationship with another woman. Caught in the midst of all this, the wife, Xiaoyu, who was thirty-four years old, was extremely distressed. Xiaoyu was inherently physically weak. She did not have a healthy body. This sudden upheaval and stress caused her to become absent minded. She lost all interest in life. While walking, she would feel like collapsing and fainting and she could not open her eyes nor eat properly. She felt that dying was better than living and divorce seemed to be the only solution to end her problem.

Toward the end of 1998, just when Xiaoyu's sufferings and distress became unbearable, a relative sent her the book "China Falun Gong" and told her that the book was intended for people with a predestined relationship. The book instantly captured Xiaoyu's attention. That very same day she started to read the book. She was so immersed in the reading that she even forgot to eat her lunch. By supper time, she had started to teach herself the exercises.

Xiaoyu embarked on her journey of studying the Fa, practicing the exercises and upgrading xinxing that day. She understood that "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" are the principles of the universe. Cultivators must follow Master's teachings and adhere to the principles of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" as the supreme standard in order to become good people. In the course of cultivation, Xiaoyu quickly became healthy. She was beaming with energy. She became a new person. She also came to realize that Falun Dafa's profound teachings and the principles of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" opened a boundless path for her. Falun Dafa is truly capable of saving all sentient beings - including beings like her husband, lost on a deviant path. She finally decided to let the idea of divorce go.

Firm and Steadfast

No sooner did Xiaoyu embark on her cultivation journey, when, on July 20, 1999 the Chinese Communist Party started the persecution on Falun Gong. Comparatively, although Xiaoyu was a new practitioner, her brief cultivation experience had enabled her to realize the magnificent, miraculous and mighty Buddha Fa being spread in the world. The chance of acquiring the Fa to practice cultivation happens only once in a thousand years! Xiaoyu was determined; she steadfastly decided to practice Falun Dafa.

Under the precarious persecution environment, Xiaoyu was able to maintain a serene cultivation atmosphere in her home. She would study the Fa together with her daughter each day. They would recite the "Hong Yin" poems and her daughter would also constantly remind her to quickly grasp the opportunity to "study the Fa."

Miraculously, Xiaoyu's husband was also so moved by his wife's benevolent actions that he bid good-bye to the woman that he was having an affair with.

Saving

Xiaoyu's husband works in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. In May of 2007 while on a company trip to Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, he suddenly got a severe toothache. The pain was so severe and intense that it almost drove him to jump from the apartment to commit suicide. However, he decided to go home. With great difficulty, he endured the fierce ache and managed to get home. Xiaoyu frequently used to tell her husband to believe that "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" and "Falun Dafa is good." While suffering to such an extent, Xiaoyu's husband begged her for help. He pleaded with her to help him. He said, "If she could help him to get past the night, he would believe in her words, and would also promise to become a good person."

Xiaoyu responded to her husband that he should be fine after returning home. She prepared a reminder of Falun Dafa's goodness and gave it to her husband to hold. She also instructed him to silently and sincerely recite, "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good" and "Falun Dafa is good." That night, Xiaoyu earnestly asked Master Li for help to save her husband. After a while, mysteriously, her husband's toothache became less severe. Around midnight, Xiaoyu prepared hot water for her husband to take a bath. By 2 a.m. her husband's appetite reappeared and he wanted to eat something. The few days' severe and constant toothache had been an ordeal to him and he wasn't able to eat anything. Now he is be able to eat to his heart's content at home.

Previously, Xiaoyu's husband did not believe in Buddhas or gods. On July 20, 1999 when the Chinese Communist Party started the persecution of Falun Gong, he would also follow their propaganda to slander Dafa. Who would believe he would be a benefactor from this Buddha Fa? Since he personally experienced the magnificent and mighty power of the Fa, whenever Xiaoyu would clarify the truth, and urge others to quit the Communist Party for their own good, her husband would support her. At other times, his old friends would try to entice him to do dirty things, but he firmly refused them. He would steadfastly respond that "he must become a good person."
