For eight years, rumors, deceit, and persecution from the old forces has made many sentient beings unclear about the truth about Falun Gong; thus, people doubt, misunderstand, or even hate Falun Gong. If the persecution was ended now, many common people will awaken from the lies. After they know the truth, their hatred will turn into respect, and sentient beings will be saved more extensively. Only this way can we be worthy of the title of Dafa disciples during the Fa-rectification period and be worthy of the expectation sentient beings have for us.
Ending the persecution is also part of cultivating during the Fa-rectification period. Our school of cultivation is a great one, and it is the most sound, quickest, and direct path.
