A Western Couple: "We Enjoyed Every Selection in the Show" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 15, 2008, New Tang Dynasty TV's Chinese New Year Spectacular, presented by the Divine Performing Arts touring company, had its premier in Maisonneuve Theatre at the famous Place-Des-Arts in Montreal, Canada. After seeing the show, a Canadian couple, Mr. Marcel LaFrance and Mrs. Cecile Carpentier, remarked on the uniqueness of each selection.

Mrs. Carpentier said, "I liked this show very much, magnificent. This was my first time to see anything like this. I totally enjoyed every selection. I liked the drum [dance] a great deal, but I can't decide which one was better or best. Every piece was so unique. I liked them all."

Mr. LaFrance said, "I enjoyed the show very much, because it is based on classic dances. It was great, a very unique performance and rare for a Western audience. The show was very successful!"

He continued, "I want to congratulate everyone that worked on the show. I believe it took them much work and effort to accomplish this. Their discipline and athletic abilities were evident. I must say again that I liked the whole show!"

The couple said they had a nephew that tours with the well-known Cirque du Soleil, so they have seen many wonderful shows before. They plan to invite their many nieces and nephews to see the Spectacular if it comes to Montreal again next year.
