In front of a banner reading, "Falun Dafa," two practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Banners and posters depicting the persecution attracted the attention of shoppers and passersby, who stopped at the practitioners' table to sign the petition and express their support for the campaign to stop the persecution. Many people talked with practitioners to learn more or to express their opinions.

Practitioner Sinikka said that when she was chatting with a man about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, he told her that although Finland was a small country, it should say stand up and say "no" to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong.

One woman told Sinikka that she had been to China witnessed the Chinese police persecuting the Chinese people. She was so terrified, that after she came back she did not tell anyone about it, even her relatives. So today, when she saw practitioners exposing the truth about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, she said, "You are doing very well."

Practitioner Anija said she met a relative from Oluo and finally had a chance to give her information about Falun Gong. She had wanted to do this for a long time but had not found an opportunity until today.

When a young practitioner, Anna, was clarifying the truth to an older Finnish gentleman, he refused to listen to her and said, "You are too young to know China. I know a lot about China." Then, pointing at the posters and banners, Anna politely asked him if he knew anything about the persecution of Falun Gong. The man became speechless and later told Falun Gong practitioners that they were doing very well to expose this persecution.

After reading posters that revealed the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, an older lady immediately took out her purse and wanted to donate twenty euros to show her support for Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioner Ms. Jiang said, "Thank you very much, but we do not take donations." Ms. Jiang gave her a Falun Gong leaflet so that she could read more about Falun Gong and the persecution.
