Ping Ping said that every New Year in China, people can only watch the New Year gala presented by the CCTV (the CCP's television network). Its content is empty boasting, affectedly unconventional, and is full of vulgar things. Even though it is lively, it actually makes one feel empty. Ping Ping said: "In order to increase viewer ratings, the CCTV program team invites some performances of a reasonable standard, and some famous celebrities to come up and make an appearance.
